High Class Steamboat Smile Apr 08, 2012

A steamboat which can never go wrong! I've tried disappointing steamboat before but never for coca. It's a high class steamboat which consist of tasty broth, homemade chili sauce and fresh ingredients.

Reminds me on MK steamboat in Bangkok and 1 similarity is that both serve green noodles. Later den i found out that Coca is a thai steamboat! lolz...

while waiting for food to be serve...

Here's our selection! die die muz try ~green noodles. Noodles are tasty and springy, goes well with the chili dips.

Ready to eat, a whole pot of goodness...

My fren demonstrating on how to place fish glue into the steamboat.

Eat Till We Burp @ Burp Cafe Smile Mar 20, 2012

Few few cafes within community club premises are this cosy and great, and the food prices are reasonable as well.
Mushroom soup

Mushroom soup

Great cream of mushrooms with crispy tasty croutons, after being soaked in the soup for awhile, they still taste delicious.
Fish & chips

Fish & chips

Crispy breaded fish and chips are great too. Big pieces serve with generous portion of fries. The fried fish is unlike common fish & chips in western food where they tends to have a fishy stench.

My must have coffee to end a hearty meal! smile Wow... very seldom cafe serve mini cookies with coffee nowadays!

Here's the view from outside!

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Bakery

There was a period where i searched high & low for mini chiffon cakes with interesting flavours. Oh well, that was already history cuz during that period where i searched so hard, i didn;t managed to find any so i gave up.

While i passed by the Tanjiong Pagar Xchange after a training session last week, i chanced upon what i've been searching for previously and I finally found it.... mini chiffons

Got a healthy choice as well! Thumbs up! There's a mild soy bean smell in the cake with sweetness from the cranberry! Lovely! I would wanna try the orea flavour the next time round i drop by! smile

Dessert Session @ Tampopo Deli  Smile Jun 05, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese

Tampopo Deli, a dessert place which sells Japanese cakes, salad and tea.
Wow... this place changed so much.

Oh well, I tried their strawberry shortcake and matcha ice-cream many years back and been wanting to come back for more. However, this place revamped and separated out the restaurant and dessert into different untis but still within the premises in Liang Court.

Restaurant which serve ramen and black pig is located on the 1st level whereas the dessert place is known as Tampopo Deli. Everything is good after it except the operating hours. The dessert house closes earlier and i've came by on few occassions after dinner, wanna chilled out with frens over dessert and in order to satisfy our crave, we had a quick dinner at Coffee Club and rushed out.

Here we are with out DESSERTS................

Coffee n Toast Smile Mar 29, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

The Toast Box at this outlet became my current favourite "la kopi" relax place. Within this shopping area, there are a few supermarkets for me to do marketing / shopping and before any of these "chores", i would tuck myself in a cosy corner and enjoy my favourite kopi c and toast.

The coffee has a rich aroma, smooth and not too sweet. A good dose for coffee addict like me.

Among all the different kinda toasts, I like the otah toast BEST. Otah is not too spicy, has a mild lemongrass and spices taste, toasted to the correct texture under the rite temperature, hence it's not too dry on the bread. Yummy~licious! smile

I'm gonna try out the cakes and main course next time round!
