It has been a long time since i’ve dined at the Soup Spoon, just like it has been a long time since i’ve met up with my friends. It’s an ideal place for gathering, to have a light meal and casual chat. A healthy soup that leaves the health conscious people at ease. Price is reasonable. highly recommended!

I have a special liking for their pork floss bun. It’s fantastic! Smart alec is pretty good too. this time round, i tried their strawberry crossiant ( not too sure about the actual name) and i’m glad to say that they didn’t disappoint me. Not too sweet and the pastry is gd. Worth trying!

I guess everyone has heard of old chang kee before. Their taro pie is fantastic! ( i love yam! ) their curry puff is next in the line. However, their sotong ball is a little disappointing. It’s hard and not juicy at all. Those you get from ntuc is much better. Their chicken wing is very oily too. well, their standard differs from stalls. So it’s good to try.

At novena, it’s really a hard decision to make on the choice of food. There’s three shopping mall and lots of fast food restaurants and the many different cuisine. I decided on the all time favourite- KOREAN cuisine. Service was good and the food served was not too bad but i’m not exactly impressed. The price is slightly higher than other Korean restaurant (depending on what you order) but their sides is lacking when a comparison is done. The main that i order is good but the portion is a little too big. good for sharing. Perhaps a kimchi soup is a good match. Worth trying but not the best.

My cousin brought some egg tarts over today. ( Didn't know they sell egg tart too ). I kinda like their crust. Very milky and crispy too. But the egg filling is a little lacking, it's not sweet enough, making the crust much more outstanding. I wouldn't buy it again but would highly recommend their sugar roll. Soft and tasty! Not too sweet too! Love it! Suitable for anytime of the day, breakfast, high tea, supper etc. and priced at an affordable rate.
