I grew up in an environment where everyone drinks coffee in the morning. I used to dip bread into coffee and ate it for breakfast when I was young! Strangely as I grow up, the smell of coffee puts me off not to mention the taste of it.. One would wonder why for someone who dislikes coffee, I actually hang out at Coffee Bean so often!!!

I love it for the simple reason - Ice Blended Sunrise and Chicago Cheesecake! After a walk with the dog at East Coast, this is a great place to chill.. and a cold drink and dessert is the way to relax by the beach.

Tim Sum at Parkway Smile Jun 28, 2011

This is one of the Crystal Jade Branches where I love to come for Tim Sum on weekdays for a late lunch... when most of the crowd disperse back to their usual work day. Not too sure why but I find the Tim Sum here better than some of the other Crystal Jade branches.. maybe it's the ambience and quiet moments of the late afternoons! Great food and shopping at Parkway thereafter always brightens up the day, especially towards a greater evening ahead!

Congee @ it's best Smile Jun 28, 2011

It's funny how some people only orders certain dishes in certain restaurants and the same goes for me when I dine at Crystal Jade Branches.

I love coming here mainly for their congees and normally order their century egg or sliced fish ones but I stumbled upon their sliced beef congee by chance one day when I wanted to try out something different.. What a great discovery - the congee was smooth as usual and the sliced beef was tender.. Great Comfort Food.

Great Sashimi Smile Jun 28, 2011

Previously hidden in the corner at the basement of Parkway, they have recently moved into their new location 3 shops away from the old one.

There's a wide spread of sashimi and they have it in diff cuts and sizes for you to choose from, depending on your fancies of the day. Not a big fan of Tofu, I actually like the one they serve here and I love the clam soup too (unfortunately, they don't have this on a daily basis! )

Tim Sum at East Coast Smile Jun 28, 2011

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Restaurant | Seafood | Kids-Friendly

Good place for Tim Sum after a morning walk on weekends at East Coast. I love to come here to Yum Cha in the mornings with family. The Tim Sum is fresh and if you go early, there's an early bird discount and not as crowded as normal hours.

My fav dish at this restaurant would be the Seafood Soup in Melon!
