carrot cake OK Jul 22, 2013
Categories : Hawker Centre

This carrot cake costs $2.50. i didn't really like although it was served hot. This raddish was too big and slightly difficult to bite on. The egg was well cooked as there are bites and pieces spread all over. If i will to rate it i will give it 3/5, not very nice but not the worst! On top of that i find the lady boss very nice, she served all her customers with a smile and asked them politely what they want.

Toast box lunch OK Jul 22, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

Mee robus set meal with a cup of barley costs at $5 only! It was one of the cheapest stomach-filling meal you can find in a shopping mall! The mee robus gravy was thick and sweet and it was served hot, which i personally preferred hot food more. nothing really special about this mee robus, just like those normal coffee shop standard, but still acceptable. The barley was home-brewed barley (I guess) and it was not really sweet which i think elderly will prefer it more! smile

Laskania  OK Jul 18, 2013
Categories : Malaysian | Halal | Noodles

This is my first try at Laksania. It was quite a long wait, i took around 30 minutes before i can get my seats. So do avoid going on weekdays or weekend dinner.

First, the Laksa; i really like the strong and thick soup of it, the spiciness level was acceptable; not too spicy for an adult. The noodles was springy and the tao pok was very juicy. The whole dish was served hot accept the hard boiled egg, which I think it will prefer it be hot. Then it will be a perfect dish of laksa! smile

Next is the Strawberry Tea, it is my very first time trying out this new drink. Well, it tasted like those tea you could easily find it on Thailand street, it is slightly sour and creamy. I find it weird but you guys might enjoy it as I am not a strawberry lover.

Durian bread OK Jul 18, 2013
Categories : Bakery | Halal

I had tried this very special favor of durian bread at Swee Heng! I had never imagine how durian fillings can be so nice when it goes with bread, usually what we had outside are durian puffs. This durian bread is kind of special in the market but i think not a lot of people are willing to try, i buy it out of my curiosity.
It is really nice with the thick durian fillings in it however, you will a sick or rather heaty after eating awhile. I think this is the reason why durian puff is better than durian bread.
However, the aroma of durian bread is really strong you can smell it a distance. if you disliked durian, you wont want to go near it at all. i liked the softness of the bread too! Is nice!
Each bread costs $1.60!

Mango orange smoothie  OK Jul 02, 2013
Categories : Food Court

I ordered the Mango Orange Smoothie - $1.90 in Temasek Polytechnic today! I found it to be nice initially with very strong taste of mango and slight sourness produced from the orange! After drinking a while, I realize more than half the cup was made of ice that is not melted which makes me feel that my smoothie is super not worth the price! sad

Other than that, my friend ordered Starfruit with Green Apple, which he said it was nice, especially with the thick green apple taste that was sour! smile
