Iced Coffee Cry Apr 04, 2013
Categories : Hawker Centre

It had been long since I drank iced coffee from hawker centre (maybe because starbucks and mac keep having new drinks and promotions, haha.) However, this coffee I drink was not up to my expectation, not comparing with Starbucks coffee, but with those normal iced coffee sell in the hawker centres. I don’t know is due to inflation or what, but the coffee is not thick enough, I think the content of the evaporated milk was low as it was not sweet at all and worse of all, the ices given was not enough. It melted in less 5mins.

Bad combination! Cry Aug 19, 2011
Categories : Food Court | Juices

The hot weather has caused me to crave for some cooling drink to chill me down, thus when I pass by this fruits & drinks stall, I decided to order a fruit juice. I wanted it to be more special thus when I asked the stall uncle what could I add to the fruit juice and he suggested that I add in vitagen. I chose a vitagen original with watermelon. However, the combination turns out to taste weird! Don't try this combination! However, I will definitely go back and try other combination!

Lunch just ended and here is my food for the day! Mixed vegetable rice at kou fu in Cineleisure! smile Well, the food i ordered is stewed potatoes, chili chicken and fried sotong! Honestly, i find the portion of rice too little! The chili chicken was not spicy at all! But on the other hand, the potatoes were soft and well cooked whereas the fried sotong was crispy! smile The total price was $4.70 however, i guess this is one of the cheaper stall that you can find in town area.

This store is really unique, owns by a couple at their 50s and sells a variety of food! From chicken rice to lor mee. At first, i ponder awhile before i ordered. Too many variety for me to choose from. Had an headache! Haha. so in the end i pick the lor mee! Which costs only $3.00. I think the overall taste is alright. The sauce was sweet, the fried food was crispy. That is all i like about the lor mee, the rest are average.

Well, I couldn't say this is the best Xiao Wan Mian I had ever eaten, but i could this was the cheapest! It costs me $3.60 for all this! However, with the reducing price of the xiao wan mian, the ingredients are also pathetic. There was only a few slice of meat and some vegetables that float on the surface, a fishball. Below the surface was completely all soup! sad My friend said there was some missing ingredients that by right should be added to xiao wan mian like the crabmeat! sad However, I like the springiness of the noodles! Thus, maybe it is more suitable for girls or people with small appetite!
