Chicken Cutlet Smile Nov 21, 2011
Categories : Food Court

First time trying the chicken cutlet rice from this stall. I had requested for the lady to not put coleslaw and she was nice enough to replace it with fries for me. The chicken cutlet was unexpectedly good actually. Very juicy and tastes even better with the sauce given. It is relatively filling and costs only $2.70 if i'm not wrong. Would totally recommend this to anyone who's looking for western food in singapore poly. They also have the chicken cutlet set without rice whereby there'll be a bun and fries.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.70

Fishball noodles Smile Nov 09, 2011

Decided to have the fishball noodles soup from e.a.t since its prett convenient. Their fishball noodles soup is reasonably priced at $3.50. The noodles did not stink of the yellow noodle taste, which is always a good thing. Soup wasn't too oily or bland. I like the fishballs they used. No bones or strong seafood smell. Its perfect for people who just want something to fill themselves up.

Hot and spicy fries Smile Nov 09, 2011

I'm a big fan of all the shaker fries flavours that mcdonald's has introduced. Recently, they brought back the hot and spicy flavor. The chilli powder goes great with their fries. It is relatively spicy actually. Its kind of like eating fries with chilli sauce just that its not as watery. Not my favourite shaker fries flavouring but nevertheless, i like it.

Curry Chicken Noodles OK Nov 09, 2011

It was my first time dining at jia xiang mian and i was surprised to see their limited variety of dishes on the menu. Didn't want to walk out after settling down so i decided to compromise for the curry chicken noodles. The noodles were unique. They had a special taste of flour..almost like there's too much flour in it. I figured that must be the speciality of jia xiang mian. Although its unique, its not really good..just a average. Curry chicken wise..average too. Nothing too special and personally i found the curry to be too spicy. Cost me probably around $6.40 and i have no plans of going back anytime soon unless they improve their menu.

Peach fruit tart Smile Nov 09, 2011

The peach fruit tart is a relatively new product at this stall actually. It is pretty big and surprisingly heavy..which pretty much explains the cost of $2. The custard was slightly sweet and could have a little more flavour to it. Crust was perfect. The peach tasted like its from those canned peaches. Would be good if they had sliced it up properly for consumers to eat it conveniently.

Spending per head: Approximately $2
