After trying the other two flavours of the Roc & Roll's, I decided to try the Hot and Spicy too to determine which is my favourite. The Roc & Roll's chips are basically like chachos, but rolled up. The Hot and Spicy flavouring wasn't too spicy. However, it was tasty along with the chips. In fact, it was so good I had the whole packet in one seating. It costs $3.50 and its probably tied for the best flavour with Tomato flavour.

Spending per head: Approximately $3.50

Fruit tart Smile Oct 20, 2011   (Related Review)

I bought the fruit tart from Bread Talk. It has peach, strawberry, kiwi and blueberry on a layer of custard. Its not really a tart actually. Its more like a puff, with layers of pastry when you bite into it. I thought the addition of blueberry to the average fruit tart's fruits (ie strawberry, kiwi and peach) was sweet. Loved it and would try it again.

Chocolate donut OK Oct 20, 2011

I picked up a Chocolate Donut from Bang Deli. Its only $1.20 and its pretty much an average sized donut. Great chocolate rice on it. Not too sweet. The bread was average. It wasn't too dry and was of average texture. Overall, its pretty average and was worth the money.

Chicken Teriyaki Ramen Smile Oct 18, 2011   (Related Review)

I was craving for ramen again so I went to Men-ichi! I tried the chicken teriyaki ramen for the first time. It was one of the tonkotsu soup ramen Men-ichi serves. Just FYI (info from Men-ichi's menu), Tonkotsu soup is a cloudy white broth as the result of boiling pork bones over long hours. It is rich in collagen with hearty flavour and creamy consistency.

The soup is very sweet and it goes extremely well with the translucent noodles. I had the free upsize, which is free, and you'll get an additional 20% of noodles. Apart from the delicious noodles and soup, the teriyaki chicken was probably the best I ever had. The teriyaki sauce is unique and very sweet.

I'd definitely recommend everyone to try it. The teriyaki chicken is really good. Also, this is one of the cheapest ramen Men-ichi has to offer. It costs only $11.90 and is a very big portion if you upsize your noodles.

Spending per head: Approximately $11.90(Dinner)

Teriyaki Chicken Sub Smile Oct 18, 2011

Subway is having a promotion for the Teriyaki Chicken 6-inch Sub meal so I had it for dinner. As usual, I didn't want any vegetables or sauce. The Teriyaki chicken has a small amount of sauce. The sauce smelled like the Chilli Crab filling. Didn't taste the sauce b/c it was overpowered by the cheese. The Teriyaki Chicken was all right actually. I prefer the roasted chicken over the Teriyaki Chicken.
