I have no idea what this is. I only ordered this dish because it was the only available dish in the lunch express since I went quite late. This is from the vegetable stall.

It is my first time seeing and eating this food. It is definitely not good to look at. It looks like a pile of you-know-what. The texture of the thing is a little soft but firm. It tastes very plain but there are a lot of vegetables. I think the best part of the dish is the side of mushrooms. I like the mushrooms and the sauce it is covered in.

I think that Marche should put pictures of the main courses on the lunch express flyers otherwise, some people can get a shock when the food arrive like me. It's the shape that shocked me.

However, I love the place. I suggest people to walk down the stairs instead of going down by the lift because by taking the stairs you can see moving sheep and a dog?

Durian Moon Cake Smile Aug 31, 2011

I love durian mooncakes. Every year my parents will buy a lot of them and I still can’t get enough of them. I have to wait for every year’s moon cake festival to eat them. Normally, durian moon cakes have to be stored in the freezer and defrosted when you want to serve. However, be careful not to let it defrost too much or the durian moon cake will not be good.

The Four Season’s durian moon cake is very good. The moon cakes are is small size which is very good. It saves the hassle of having to cut it. The moon cake skin is very soft. The durian is very fresh and sweet.

Salad Bar Smile Aug 31, 2011   (Related Review)

I love the salad bar, mainly the Mashed Potato and the Coleslaw.

At the salad bar, they allow you to scoop the mashed potato yourself and drizzled the sauce however you like it. The mashed potato is very smooth and soft. The sauce is also very good.

The coleslaw is also very good. The vegetables inside are very crunchy and fresh. The coleslaw dressing is very good because the taste is not too overwhelming. I like to mix the coleslaw with the mashed potato and eat it together.

Good Pan Fried Dory Smile Aug 31, 2011   (Related Review)

I ordered the Pan Fried Dory Baked Rice and I like it immensely. I love the cheese. It is very flexible and it is very chewy. The best part of the dish is the pan fried dory. The fish meat is very tender and the skin is very crispy. The dory is very flavourful and cooked to absolute perfection.

However, I don’t really like the rice. The rice is fragrant and all but I don’t like the taste of it. It has a strange taste. The portion they give is quite much. I always feel very full after ¾ of the baked rice and cannot finish all.

Spending per head: Approximately $13.90

Lays Spaghetti OK Aug 31, 2011

I went Lenas to eat with my sister. I wanted to get the lunch special however, we were late. Anyway, my sister ordered the Diced Chicken Pasta. It is with cream base and spaghetti.

When the pasta came, all the smell of the chicken pasta rushed into my nose. I tasted it and found it to be quite nice. The sauce is not too creamy and the pepper the put is just right. The pepper is not too much and not too little. The chicken has a little lemon taste. My sister says that it taste more and more like the Lays potato chips towards the end.
