Was looking for food to buy for my breakfast early in the morning and only a few stalls are opened in nex.

Decided to try out this stall as there is quite a number of people who are queuing for their items.

Bought the fried prawn dumpling and fried seafood beancurd that costs $1.10 each.It is very crispy even though I left it for almost an hour before eating it.

And the ingredients in it is pretty generous. There is real big baby prawns in both items which is juicy and fresh!;D

It is also tasty and fragrant!^^

However it is a little too oily.

It is quite worth it for the price as there are real ingredients

Even though curry puff at old chang kee is common, it should be highlighted that the curry puff here is always hot and crispy ;DBought the curry puff from this outlet 3 times at different times of the day and all the 3 times I got the curry puff hot and fresh ;D

The service isn’t very good though. But the curry puffs are undeniably to be hot and fresh.
The standards is also great

As always, the curry puff is full of the filling and is not too spicy.

The outer crust is thick at the sides and thin at the body. Normally for thick flour coating, it would not be nice to eat but the ones at old chang kee is fragrant and nice^^

It was my first time trying the egg tarts from this stall.

It was on promotion which costs $0.95 each egg tart. The original price is $1.50 for each egg tart.

We bought the Portuguese egg tarts.The skin of the egg tart is those fluffy layered and thin kind of skin.

The texture of the egg filling is smooth and juicy, and it has the jelly texture ;D

It is not too sweet and is not dry. The skin is also not too thick.

Overall I would give it a 7/10 for its smooth and juicy texture

For the promotion price, it is pretty worth it ;D

Recently there are the new products of McDonalds and I tried out their taro pie and honey lemon drumlets!;D

The taro pie is $1 and the honey lemon drumlets is $2.The honey lemon drumlets comes in pair and it looks quite small though.

The drumlets are small in size and it is crispy and the meat is tender and juicy.

It brings a mild taste of sweet and sour, and blends well with the drumlets ;D

The taste is not too strong and it is not too salty.

However the taste isn’t too special, but it’s worth the try. Probably give it a 7/10 As for the taro pie, it is different from the taro pie from burger king and I love it!;D

The difference is in the taste and texture. The taro in the pie is in cubes and is the real type of taro, similar to the taro used in desserts.

The taro pie taste a little like the yam ice cream flavour.

And I like the moderate sweetness which is not too sweet or flavourless.

It could brighten my day up with the crispy outer and sweet taro within ^^

And it costs an affordable $1 for the taro pie…would definitely get it again ;D

As usual, ikea on a Saturday night was crowded and it took us a while to get seats during dinner time.

We decided to get a plate of mee siam each, chicken wings and a butterscotch cake.

The mee siam costs only $1.90! but we only managed to get two plates and it’s out of stock due to high demand:/

Although it is quite a small plate, but it’s just right for one person, with some sides like chicken wings.The mee siam is not too spicy and the tou pok is quite a lot. I like the gravy!;D
But it’s a little salty though :x
Considered super worth it comparing with the price of other items.The chicken wings is as always, crispy and fragrant on the outer and the meat is tender and tasteful^^
It is not too dry and there’s still some juice within For the cake, we actually wanted to get the chocolate cake but I think we got the wrong one and got the butterscotch chocolate cake instead.

But we’re glad we got the wrong one because we simply love the cake!;D

There’s a few layer of taste and texture…a combination of the soft chocolate cake and the crispy layer, which seems like biscuit bits kind of layer.

A little sticky and it is sweet but not the kind that we will get sick of it after a few mouthful.

Chocolate coupled with the butterscotch, I just really love it to the max ;D

On the summary, we got a cake, 6 chicken wings and two plates of mee siam, shared between the 3 of us.
The whole meal that made us fairly full merely costs the each of us around $4 …pretty worth it right? ;D
