I remembered dining in for lunch alone earlier this year. They had pretty affordable lunch sets when I was there and I ordered from the lunch set. This is what I got - the steamed claypot rice (not sure it is the right name) and it comes with mushrooms,carrots and chicken on top of the rice. There is also a dessert and appetitser included - and everything just cost me $8.80++. Quite worth it.

Zhou's kitchen offers a dimsum buffet during the non-peak hours from 2:30-5:30. I was there on a weekend and it is $16.80++ per adult. The dishes on the whole are quite ok, I especially liked the mini egg tarts. We ordered several of this dish. The popiah wasn't that well done in my opinion though. Besides dim sum, there are other dishes like the sliced pork with garlic sauce, drunken chicken and desserts. Not sure if the menu has changed since this visit was in 2009, but I thought more variety could be added.

I had my lunch here one afternoon and I ordered the BK Singles BBQ turkey bacon lunch set, which comes with the burger, drink and french fries. This is my first time trying it, and I love the taste of the crispy bacon paired together with the beef. It is really a delight. At only $4.50, it is quite value for money, and I can always takeaway the drink back home if I am too full to finish it.

I was thirsty and decided to get a cup of drink from Sweet Talk. As I do not really like the texture of Sweet Talk's tapicoa pearls, I went for something without pearls, which is this oreo ice blended drink. The drink is reallly sweet, in fact, too sweet to consume the whole cup by yourself without feeling sick to the stomach. I only managed to drink half of it before I threw the rest away. It is a pity because I used to order this and it didn't taste so cloyingly sweet last time.

The Ginger Beef with rice is the one dish I always liked to order when my classes are near FC 4. I like the how the stir fried beef isn't too hard and is flavoured just right. However, the only thing I dislike is that the ingredients are far too little - most of the heap of ingredients are spring onions, onions and very little beef. I would rather they increase the price than to scrimp on the beef.
