Average Muah Chee to me  OK Mar 04, 2011

Categories : Food Court

I decided to get a packet of muah chee from this stall after passing by it so many times. I bought the small packet which costs me only $2.. However, I find that their muah chee is just very ordinary. Although their muah chee is very soft and they are well coated with a layer of peanut and sugar mix, the size of each muah chee is actually very small. They are very chewly but to me it is the same as any other muah chee. Still a good choice if yu just want some snacks though.

Can give it a try Smile Mar 04, 2011

There are a few variety of the handmade noodles and a few combinations like seafood, the normal version etc. The seafood version with ban main was quite good. The seafood broth was quite tasty and you can taste a balance of sweetness and saltiness. Not bad. As for the noodles, it was quite springy and not too hard so you can still have some bites over the noodles. The seafood was qute fresh. They have 2 big prawns in it. Not bad. Overall, the seafood version was good.

Not to my liking at all Cry Mar 04, 2011

I decided to go for vegetarian food for lunch. And I regretted it because the food is not to my liking at all. I had ordered the fried mee hoon with pumpkin and one other vegetable dish. The mee hoon tasteed ordinary, just like any other mee hoon I can get elsewhere. As for the pumpkin, it was too sweet and it was so mashed up that I seemed to be eating pumpkin mash instead. It was cooked way to soft. I gave up after making myself finish half the plate.

This outlet actually locates inside Heartland Mall. I would say the outlet's size is quite average. During dinner time on a weekday, it was not too crowded. Only a few tables were being occupied.

I had the beef bowl again as I really love the beef bowl with its sauce and onions. The beef slices were well cooked and it was up to standard. The miso soup came with many small pieces of seaweed and tofu. As with all miso soup, I find it slightly salty.

Service was quite good as the service staff will recommend their desserts to you. I was served promptly too.

Juicy food rojak Smile Mar 04, 2011

Categories : Coffeeshop

I seldom order from this stall as it sells mainly fruit rojak. I tried once and the stall owner gave quite many pieces of fruits and veggies like the pineapple, cucumber etc. The taste of the prawn paste was not that strong. And because there were many fruits, it tends to be more watery. The fruits were very fresh and juicy, Taste wise was quite okay as the sauce becomes diluted and thus not so thick. If you want to try a different version of the rojak, you can give it a try.
