Seafood Aglio Olio Smile Dec 11, 2013
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC) is a nice place to just chill out with friends, and chat over drinks.

In my opinion, TCC is one the places which serves great aglio olio. I'm a lover of their seafood aglio olio. The Seafood Aglio Olio($18.80++) was good! The Scallops were perfect and the Prawns were fresh and crunchy. Although the dish is quite spicy, you may request for less spicy for those who can't take spiciness.

Of course, tcc's dishes are not that afforable. It's one of the places that offers quite pricey main dishes.

Gangnam style bbq Smile Dec 11, 2013

Categories : Korean | Korean BBQ

One of the best korean bbq i've tasted in Singapore. What i like about Gangnam style is that they use the "air filtration" system, say bye bye to the bbq smell when you leave the restaurant. Gangnam Style BBQ uses charcoal for the BBQ. The charcoal is heated up over the metal grill plate for you to enjoy the BBQ.

The meat barbecued under charcoal is definitely much more tender and soft compared to those barbecued under electric heater. The service is good as the korea staff will help you to bbq the dishes. Very attentive and cautious!

Apart from that, the shop also serves a range of authentic korean dishes such as kimchi pancakes which taste superb! Everything is alacarte therefore it is more pricey but worth it!

Xiao Long Bao Smile Dec 11, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Chinese | Restaurant | Dim Sum

This popular Taiwanese restaurant chain has brought its signature fare to Singapore and earned wide acclaim. Must tries are the delicate steamed dumplings, braised beef noodles and traditional chicken soup. Although the restaurant gets busy, there's an efficient serving system that keeps diners moving through.

Being a fan of xiao long bao, how will i resist their xiao long bao? It is a must order dish everytime i visit Ding Tai fung. Other than the xiao long baos, one of the more popular dish is their shrimp and egg fried rice. A simple dish made to perfection by Ding tai fung. I like it that the rice is not so oily.

Brunch at FFT Smile Dec 11, 2013
Categories : Fusion | Restaurant

Whether you’re at Food for Thought’s 8QSAM or Singapore Botanic Gardens you can get the Basic (scrambled eggs, bacon and toasted brioche, $7), House (Basic plus hash browns and a thyme tomato salad, $12) and the Full Works (House plus garlic mushrooms and chunky chicken sausage, $18). The serving and quality of food are relatively satisfying!

The ambience at Food for thought is perfect for a gathering or chill out with friends. It is a good place for brunch!

Location of the cafe is perfectly situated outside the bras basah mrt station therefore the convenience is not compromised.

Ajisen Smile Nov 19, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Ramen

This Japanese chain restaurant uses the tagline "the best ramen in Singapore" and has an extensive variety of ramen noodles. These are served with different soup bases such as miso and tom yum, along with different meats, seafood and vegetables. Personally, I feel that the ramen that Ajisen serves are great for value and worth the price but it does not serve the best ramen in Singapore. The serving is just nice. Service is good, the staffs are attentive and they will greet the customers before and after they leave the restaurant. The formality is appreciated.

You can opt for a meal instead of ala carte for the ramen as it is more worth it. For about $12.90 to $15.90, you can get a ramen of your choice, one side dish and a drink.
