I was having bad cravings for tom yum so my boyfriend took me here for thai dinner. We were in a rush and only had 30 minutes to eat. Although the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night, the lady boss assured us that 30 mins was possible. They quickly took our orders. I had a stick noodles seafood tom yum soup for $11 and my boyfriend had green curry rice ($16) and we shared a rose lime drink. The food came rather promptly served by a very polite waiter. I liked mine! Initially, I thought the tom yum would not have a kick since the soup was not red and spicy looking. I have no idea how they made it spicy then but it was indeed, spicy, sour, slightly sweet and really good. Perhaps it’s better this way without the chilli oil floating at the top. Also, I used to think green curry is pretty mild in spiciness, but this one sure was HOT. My lips were burning red. It’s was not too creamy and decent. The rose and lime drink was something totally unheard of! It turned out to be refreshing (: So we rushed through our dinner, got our bill and managed to finish in exactly 30 mins thanks to their efficient service!

As usual, we ordered our favourite beverage - Ice Blended Orginal Mocha and also tried on the new beverage the Ice Blend Vanilla. I must say the quality of the beverages were superb and consistenly good! Very flavourful and strong in taste! We really enjoyed the drinks there and spent over an hour there chit chatting and indulged in the "Christmas celebration" (as there was a live show performed by Hi-5 at the centre stage which was just outside the cafe, sininging Christmas carols)!!!

Service was good, staff was polite and smileful and fast. The only area that needed improvement was that the tables and seats were arranged too close to one another and thus making walking through a bit "tough and challenging". So may have to side-walk through. Perhaps they want to maximize the seating capacity to cater to more customers. But space is important to feel "relax and soothing" and enjoy the afternoon tea and coffee!

This outlet is indeed one of the handful with exceptionally good service and beverages! Bravo!!! Keep up the good work!

If you are a fan of beijing roasted duck, this will be your cup of tea. I was never a fan of duck meat though but this pizza really enticed me alot. I had my first bite and love it to bits.

The pizza is not like any other pizzas you find outside, it's crispy and the duck meat is tender and soft. Overall, the taste is just so heavenly.

Other than that, there are live bands performances. A nice place to chill out after work

Do make reservations (one week in advance) through their online booking system as it's usually full house there. Or if you're lucky, go on that day and you might be able to find some seats but it's quite rare or you have to wait.

As Timbre is always packed and it would be hard to get a table if you do not make an advance reservation.

Personally, i find the breakfast platter abit pricey. It's around 7.45 SGD but it's extremely filling.

For those looking for a hefty breakfast, there is the Breakfeast Platter. I love this restaurant to bits! They've a wide range of main dishes, from sandwiches to steak. Choose a dish and choose your flavour of the fries (if i'm not wrong, there're four flavours). Other than that, you can also choose the type of fries you want (shoe string/straight cut).

It's a perfect place for birthday celebration, hangout or even dating!
Go at non-peaked hour to enjoy serenity, it might even be a place to even read or relax for awhile!
