Forgotten about me Cry Jun 01, 2013
Categories : Food Court

After a rather dry lunch, I am planning to get an iced cold green tea to wash down the meal. But the aunty said no green tea today. So end up ordering Red Rudy for dessert. But the other aunty who is doing the making forget about my order. She remember the order of the guy before me and also the guy after me, but not mine. Until she finally see me, then she asks what have I ordered. And she seems cludless in the making of Red Rudy as she keeps asking another aunty what to add.

Red Rudy ($1.20)
The red rudy cubes are all sticked together and difficult to separate out. The sago balls taste a bit uncooked. Would prefer the dessert to be sweeter.

Ice-cream Cry May 21, 2013   (Related Review)

It is a very colourful outlet with all kinds of sweet stuff at the display counter.

Chocolate ice-cream ($2.50)
Thinking having having something chocolatey and there is a on-going promotion at the store, so got myself a small cup of it. A bit disappointed when the ice-cream is served as it does not fill up the cup. It tastes chocolaty but the taste is not smooth. It tastes powdery, as if the mixture is not mixed properly.

Disappointing soup Cry May 20, 2013

Looking at the range of pictures of food at the stall, only the picture of pig stomach's soup attracts me. It has been a while since I have this type of soup. I decide to order one bowl at $5.90. I got a shock of my life when I been served a pot of cloudy soup. Looks unusual. The first thing I see from the soup is salted vegetables, which is weird. Not much slices of pig's stomach. The soup tastes horrible, just salted water, lack of flavour. It has been a waste of money on this soup.

Discounted Maki Cry May 20, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi

It is almost 9pm when I come out of the library. I decides to check out the sushi counter as there is a 30% discount on sushi and maki before closing.

Not much choices in the counter, but still got myself a box of 3 tako salad maki and 2 scallop maki (usual : $3.90), which costs $2.75 after discount. The seafood filling tastes average. The sushi rice tastes rather dry and a bit hard too.

Not much special Cry May 20, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Bak Kut Teh

The first poster I notice when I reach the coffeeshop is about this shop. Very big poster. It seems that this stall is a very famous outlet. There is also a rather long queue at the stall too.

Order a claypot of bak kut teh ($4.50) and a bowl of rice ($0.50). The soup is not much of a flavour. Not much meat in the claypot. The meat is not really tender. Overall it is a very disappointing meal.
