Jin Xing Wanton Mee OK Oct 03, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

This stall's wanton mee is so so to me as it didn't give me the kick that i get out from a very good wanton mee which is based on the noodles, wanton, char siew, vegetables and soup or sauces.Had my wanton mee in soup and the mee do not have the springy or chewy bite but rather soft noodle. The wanton however do give out a well marinated taste and the meat is too little compared to the big skin use to wrap.Char siew is lean meat and taste okay but nothing compared to a well roasted char siew.Soup taste okay to me .

Mushroom Minced Noodle-TP blk 127 OK Oct 03, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Hawker Centre | Noodles

This stall sells mushroom minced meat noodle and prawn noodle soup. The mushroom is very well braised and not so salty and have a nice fragrance. The minced meat are also well marinated and the pig's liver is very fresh and well sliced that when you take a bite, the liver simply taste so smooth and not at all hard. The prawn noodle soup is okay as i have it dry but the side bowl of prawn soup is not up to my expectation as the soup is a bit thin even though it tasted of prawn shell being boiled.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.50(Lunch)

With A Pinch of Salt Cry Oct 03, 2011

At first look,i though this stall sells reasonable priced set menu like $5.50 but they charged you for take away extra 50 cents for small containers or even boxes that can't even be reused, like those you buy for take away lunch boxes which must be thrown away after use!The fish set that i ordered is called something like fish gordonbleu and upon reaching home which is just a 10 mintues drive,my dinner became the worst fish dinner i ever had as the fish becomes so soggy and it looks aweful and tasted tasteless too.

Categories : Hawker Centre | Steaks and Grills

This stall sells fried items like fish & chips, french fries, fried chicken, grilled items like grilled chicken, lamp chops, pork chops etc..and you can smell them from afar. Many customers orders the lamp chop here as this stall has been here for a long time and when i tried the lamp chop,it was really very tender, tasty. The fish and chips is also very good as the fish is deep fried to golden brown and the batter is very crunchy and the serving comes with baked red beans ,fries which are very tasty too.

Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre | Kids-Friendly

This stall sells lots of fried fish dishes that every morning you can see the stall holder fried the fishes and filled the 3 glass display container full as i'm counting now.The various fried fish items sold here are fried fish soup.fried fish bee hoon, fried fish kway chap, fried fish mee sua, fried fish porridge. The fish are really so fresh and big and the fish porridge's soup is very tasty like the fish bone had been boiled for many hours with ikan bilis, very rich. The mee sua is also cooked just right and springy and with such fresh fish and good fish soup,no wonder this stall has so many customers.
