Baby Doughnut Smile Oct 29, 2011

These donuts are so incredibly soft and light, I could actually down three of them as snacks quite easily. I guess that's the dangerous things about them since they felt almost like nothing after you ate them and true enough as they say it, one is never enough. I've got to say that they tasted better than I had expected. I suppose one of the winning factors that makes the regular glazed one a winner is that it wasn't excessively sweet like Krispy Kreme. So, despite being a fan of the old school grease and sugar coated rings, I thought that these new generation lightweights stood up quite well for themselves in my books. Sure wouldn't mind getting more of them from time to time

I have not had a great Char Siew Pau for along time and this Char Siew Sio Bak Pau really hit the spot for me. I thought that even though the Char Siew filling is already one of the best around, it could still be improved.

Still my 2nd best Pau stall though after Tanjong Rhu Pao lol

Hokkien Mie :D Smile Oct 29, 2011

Categories : Noodles

The hokkien mie is too watery in my opinion. However the composition between each of the ingredients cover it up. The chilli is so shiok. It is a good choice between the seafood in the noodle. The pork lard is so crunchy and savoury. Ne noodles again are limp and soft and the sauce is pale and it has got bits of eggs in it.

First Rojak Stall This Year Smile Oct 29, 2011

The potatoes are satisfying and when it is combined with the gravy. It was something so simple but yet so delicious. The potatoes are specially selected and have to be parboiled before frying.

Ordered the crispy prawn fritters. They are really crunchy and the umami flavours really stands out. It is almost no different from the Sakura Ebi that you can order from a Japanese Restaurant, only this one is much cheaper.

Teh Tarik AGAINN XD Smile Oct 29, 2011

This Teh Tarik certainly fulfills my criteria for a good Teh Tarik. It's the smooth and creamy tea and also the strong flavour that it flows through my throat so smoothly.

Tips:
You can ask for less sugar to be able to taste the tea well.

The Teh Halia is good too! Nice warm gingery taste that rolls down your throat.
Love them all.
