there is this new gong bao chicken tender, at first i thought is a new product but actually is a just a new sauce. honestly, i think the sauce dont really go well with the tenders, it was too sweet. I felt like i was dipping into honey with a slight spicy touch. but is afterall a new creation so is still ok to try once

just had lunch at U town so went down to starbuck to slack. my friend saw the lava cake and was tempted to try so gotten it to share. the staff was nice to warm it up for us but somehow the looks was not as appealing after heating. Taste wise i think was average because I was expecting more molten chocolate than like chocolate juice, it was a bit too dilute. and it was too sweet for me, but sharing is not a bad choice

went down for dinner at the greenhouse cafe recently. I ordered the smoke salmon with pasta and i think the food was not too bad and the portion was relatively generous. after that i ordered the new york cheesecake for dessert and i think it was really nice. the cake had a rich cheese taste and it complement very well with the raspberry glazing

passed by this bakery so help mama bought the bread for breakfast. there is also another outlet in clementi but i felt the one in toa payoh seem to have more variety of bread to choose from. i just took some random bread off the shelf and i think bread is a semi wheat bread because it has a more coarse texture but it taste not too bad and is quite soft.

ate too much heaty food during the festive seasons so went to buy some herbal drink to detox a little. i ordered the ginseng chrysanthemum tea which i felt should be quite cooling and i quite like the taste. as usual ginseng is slightly bitter and it has a great combination with chrysanthemum.
