Nice chendol Smile Jun 29, 2012

Categories : Food Court | Desserts and Cakes

Decided to try this lovely chendol in simei street foodfare food court.
red beans are huge and crunchy, love that its not too sweet
comes with lots of satan , green tentacles like jelly, black chin chow jelly, and a sweet kind of fruit with is slightly translucent & chewy. love that portion they give is generous. A great dessert when you need something sweet and refreshing to quench your thirst! Will definitely come back to try their other dessert varieties smile

Decided to try chocolate at this shop which claims that their chocolate is all organice & low carb, using sugar that is all natural hence is diabetic friendly
tried their French Truffles at around $3 fro 2 pieces.
its really good, chocolate is rich and texture is smooth, you can really taste that its of quality .
& best thing is that its not overwhelmingly sweet
Will definitely go back again to try their other chocolate varieties

good popiah Smile Jun 29, 2012

one of my favourite popiahs are from yi kou wei, a chinese food stall that sells all kinds of chinese snacks and delicacies such as carrot cake, muah chee, yam cake, glutinous rice and of course their freshly made on the spot popiah

popiah skin is thin. love that they give generous fillings of that thinly shredded potato slices & that popiah is made in a way that it is not soggy. Ask them to add more of the crunchy bits if you like it more crunchy. staff will ask you if you want spicy or not. spicy option is REALLY spicy and can be overpowering ..opt for the less spicy or non-spicy.

lovely breadstick Smile Jun 29, 2012
Categories : American

my favourite place for a light snack or have something to bite on-the-go or in the cinemas
my favourite is the cheese breadstick - love that its not as sweet as the other varieties
its flavourful, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside
can be slightly oily so remember to get tissues from them .
breadstick goes well with coffee and other beverages such as coke , lemonade or bubble tea.
May also try the cinnamon one if you have got a sweet tooth

good crepes Smile Jun 29, 2012

love the dessert crepes here
crepes are thin and too floury hence you can eat 3 at a go and not feel sick in the stomach or squeamish from eating too much sweet stuff.
tried the crepe with walnut pieces, - walnut pieces are few topped with whipped cream - okay
original - choice of cinnamon or vanilla powder
exotic honey - love the sour taste which complements the crepe
favourite are the ones chocalate glazed and topped with ice cream
staff is friendly !
