Food:
beef and chicken rendang - meat is tender without being mushy, sauce is tasty and flavourful.
chilli brinjal - tasty
kang kong - not too oily, good
otah - very good , tasty and flavourful
tauhu telur - mash of tofu and fried egg - its really appetising but i find it a little too sweet.

Manis Manis has closed their restaurant at turf city & relocated to Bukit merah central sports lifestyle centre. but the boss told us that its only for temporary and he will be folding for good because its tiring and wants to retire & doubt his son would wan to takeover the business.

Went to the restaurant in furama hotel. There were having a lunch promotion - dim sum dishes for only SGD1.98 each - really cheap given that dim sum normally costs around SGD 3-5.

har gaw / prawn dumplings - huge prawns, skin is thin - very good!
steamed pork ribs with pumpkins - generous amounts of pumpkins, flavour is good
egg tarts - soft , tender and very tasty - i can eat a whole plate on my own!
liu sha pao / egg custard bun - not too watery / sweet - good!
siew mai - prawns are huge ! topped with egg roe and served in their special sauce - delicious!
deep fried spring roll - normal
plum ice tea - its haw thorn juice - refreshing
kui hua gao / flower jelly dessert - strong flower flavour, jelly is not too thick, good! ;)

service and ambience is great. will definitely come back again! )

bomb rice - curry sauce and bomb rice which contains a hard boiled egg in it. - really unique and creative idea - taste is a bit on the salty side, pretty normal, but the brilliant presentation makes it seem a lot tastier.

love the sour plum & lemon honey juice - really refreshing!! i always drink this after a spicy/ salty meal to quench my thirst - totally loving it!

pork chop set - meat is tender and comes with healthy carrots and brocolli. choose from cream of mushroom, black pepper and curry sauce. Like the curry sauce - sweet and sour - really special taste

chicken baked rice - pretty normal. would prefer it to be more cheesy
