fluffy puffs! Smile May 26, 2012

I totally love cream puffs!!
Bread papa’s cream puff is fluffy , light, chewy and slightly crispy on the outside. I always get the natural vanilla flavor. Think the vanilla is able to better bring out the flavor of the puff.
My mum thinks the cream is too sweet, but I’m okay with it. The fact that I really like cream puff is able to make me overlook any flaws. Just as long as it is not too hard or dry I’m all for it!

slow at refilling oysters and seafood
Only 8pm and the main dishes are emptied out - went for almost 20mins without food as we waited for them to replenish them
Good variety of desserts from chocolate cake, kuehs and fondues. My favourite is the durian mousse dessert – fluffy and light texture, durian flavor is good without being too creamy or sweet.
Bread pudding is a little dry. can be better.
Like the appetizers as well, bacon & thai vermicelli cocktail mixes.
My sister ordered a plate of salad for 13 bucks and some of the veggies were yellow (not fresh) – requested for a change & they forgot about it. Had to ask them again after 40mins.

tried their kaya toast before. Like it. Its less sweeter than ya kun.
decided to try something less heavy for tea - their scones
comes in plain or raisin variant. I chose the raisin one at $2.10 each. They heated it up for me in a plate with strawberry jam & butter on the side as spread.
Love that the scones are crunchy and not too flaky.

newly opened Taiwanese snack place by a mediacorp artiste in Raffles city .
ordered a mee suah set for $7.80. Love the meatballs and peppery taste of the soup
deep fried chicken pieces are crispy, salty and spicy.
milk tea is a bit diluted.
there are also other food dishes such as braised pork rice and you can choose other combinations from their daily specials menu
Overall is gooooood

yummy egg tarts Smile May 26, 2012

quite like the egg tarts here
crust is fluffy without being too flaky
its also not too sweet.
however I only like the original egg tart, soya bean tart tastes quite bland
egg can be more smooth and tender, but overall flavor is good.
Did not try the other buns like polo bun and sasuage rolls as they look a bit dry.
