The brat stack OK Jun 25, 2013
Categories : Live Sports Broadcast

This is my first time going to this restaurant. It was a hippy feeling restaurant that was reeking of youthful vibes. Most of the people we saw there were young people too. We ordered the brat stack, which was pancake combo with sausages and salad and hash browns. The pancake was fluffy and light, it went well with the maple syrup. I had never had pancake as main course before so it was a first for me.

Bibimbap Smile Jun 25, 2013

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Korean BBQ

Had a craving for Korean food perhaps due to all the Korean drama watching hehe. So I went to this restaurant which a friend had previously gone to and recommended to me. I love bibimbap as I think it is so healthy. So of course I ordered it when I got there. It had to be one of the best I've tried, with the proportions just nice. There was egg, cucumber, bean sprouts, mushrooms, shreds of chicken and of course your usual kimchi sauce.

Thin crust pizza OK Jun 25, 2013   (Related Review)

After being to the Bistroquet Grill and Bar at Alexandra two weeks ago after trying their smoothie, I went back there again to try their main courses. There was really not much people when we went there and the staff was resting at the small drink counter. They quickly served us when we went in. Their menu said their pizzas are wood-fired thin crust pizza. We ordered the Meat Lovers' pizza which had duck meat with mozzarella and some herbs. It was very light but not filling and for those looking for a quick bite.

Went there for a lunch as a farewell lunch gathering for a colleague. We ordered the seafood fried rice, Sheng mian, san bei ji (chicken), Kang kong stir fried with sambal, honey dipped stir fried pork and steamed fish. Overall, the quality of food was okay, but the size portions are quite small for the price paid in my opinion. They gave free chrysanthemum tea and top up along the way. Most of the other customers there were also for corporate functions I believe and not so much for the taste of the food I believe.

Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino Smile Jun 13, 2013

Categories : American | Coffee

Finally went to try the Red Bean Green Tea Frappuccino at Starbucks that day, while my friend ordered the green tea frappe. Actually it is just red beans added on top of green tea frappe itself. The taste was quite nice, with the red bean flavour not too overwhelming over the green tea taste. I love the rich green tea flavour and red beans added is an additional bonus.
