Sukiyaki Craze Smile Sep 27, 2011

Simply love the beef sukiyaki at Sushi Tei! The beef is so fresh and well cut (thickness is just right). As the serving is quite huge, I would recommend this for sharing so that you can try other food items. However, if you choose to have it on your own, you may like to order a bowl of rice to go with it as you may find that the soup is too sweet.

I have also ordered the sushi platter which I think is something worth trying, especially if you are a sushi and sashimi lover.

This is a restaurant that serves a huge variety of food, one will never get sick of dining here! Went to Mezza for dinner again to try new dishes. smile

Ordered the crispy fried noodles with beef which I will strongly recommend one to try. The beef is really tender and chewy. It goes really very well with the crispy noodles. The chef is also very generous with the serving of the beef. I think there are around eight huge pieces of beef. Yumz!

As for the yakitori, it is also very delicious. However, I find that it is kinda expensive given that not exactly six sticks of meat are served. One of the sticks is actually half a corn!

Dinner @ Mezza9 Smile Dec 15, 2012

Went to Mezza9 for dinner again! Sadly, the service standard is not consistant. My previous experience of the service is definitely better!

When we first entered the restaurant, we gotta wait for the waitress to show me to my seats even though there are plenty of seats in the restaurant. To make matter worst, the waitress show us to seats which are located near the kitchen and I am sure that I will smell of food if I sit there as the chef is stir-frying food (If you have visited Mezza9 before, you will know that it has a open kitchen). Needless to say, I requested for the waitress to change seats for us...else I will not have been able to enjoy my dinner!

As for the food, it tastes as good as before. Ordered half roast chicken (as shown in the first pic) which is very tasty. The meat is tender and sweet. Yummy! Will recommend one to try it. Also ordered the apple pie from the cafe as dessert. Personally, I feel that this apple pie is relatively value for money given that the portion is quite huge. It is only $4.50 (and it is from Mezza9!)

Chinese Dinner Smile Dec 15, 2012

If you wanna have something light, healthy and tasty, you can try the congee from Crystal Jade. Crystal Jade serves delicious congee with lots of ingredients. Ordered the century egg and lean meat congee in which I think the serving is quite huge. Do share it with someone if you wanna try other things. The salted fish fried rice is also quite tasty. However, I feel that the chef can be more generous with the ingredients.

In terms of service, the staff is quite friendly and very prompt in handling our request. smile

I love visiting this restaurant during lunch time as I can almost sure that I can get the seat. But don't be mistaken, this doesn't imply that the food is not good. Perhaps it is just not as popular...tongue not sure why though...

Ordered the crayfish pasta but I requested for the chef to cook in alio olio style instead of the cream sauce style as shown in the menu. Glad that they allow customisation. smile

As for the drink, I think I have made the right choice in ordering the mango smoothie. It is very refreshing, especially so when it is served with huge chucks of mango in the drink.
