New Menu Smile Aug 20, 2012

TCC has recently launched a new menu and the scallop spaghetti which I have ordered is one of the new dishes. This new creation tastes quite good and I am quite certain that it will be well-liked by most of the diners. Personally, I find that this dish is kinda fusion style. Unlike the usual western style spaghetti in which the sauce is kinda thick, the sauce for this spaghetti is kinda watery and lots of garlic is added. I will recommend one to give it a try!

It is pleasant experience dining at this Japanese restaurant as the sashimi are super fresh and service is good. However, the food is relatively more expensive than most Japanese restaurant which I think is reasonable as you pay for what you get. smile If you are a sashimi lover, the sashimi platter (as shown in the 1st picture) is something which you can order. The sushi platters (as shown in the 3rd and 4th pictures) also taste good. Yumz!

Interesting Dessert Smile Aug 20, 2012

As the title suggests, I tried a very interesting dessert at this restaurant. It is the fried banana fritters with malt sugar (as shown in the 3rd picture). The reason why I find it interesting is that the waitress has to soak the fried banana fritters in ice before serving it to us. Hence, it is cold in the outside and warm in the inside. The waitress explained that the fritters have to be soaked in water to prevent them from sticking together as it is coated with malt sugar. Do give it a try as it taste good!

This is my first time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely visit it again! Simply love the food here. smile

Ordered the bottomless nacho chips with salsa which I can't stop munching on while waiting for my main course to be served. The best of it is it is botomless! Refill as many times as you like and pay only $8!

My main course is the quesadilla with fries and caesar salad which is super yummy. I love the beef and onion filling in the quesadilla. Yumz...

Lunch at Dome Smile Jul 09, 2012

Though most people visit this place for coffee/tea and desserts, I feel that this is a good place for lunch/dinner. Unlike most restaurants in Raffles Place, Dome is not crowded during lunch time. Hence, you do not have to waste time waiting for seats. Most importantly, the food tastes good. Ordered the grilled fish with fries and caesar salad which I will strongly recommend one to try it. Both the fish and salad taste really yummy. smile The sharing platter (as shown in the 1st pic) which consists of wedges, calamari, king prawns and chicken drumlets is also something which I will recommend one order for sharing.
