Yummy Rendang Smile Jul 11, 2012
Categories : Singaporean | Stall / Kiosk

Heard from my friend that the mutton rendang is delicious and hence decided to give it a try. Ordered the following dishes to go with my rice for lunch:
1) Mutton Rendang
2) Sambal French Beans
3) Stir Fried Eggs

Generally, I think that the mutton rendang and sambal french beans taste quite good. In fact, I agree with my friend that the mutton rendang is worth trying, especially so when it is reasonably priced.

However, the stir fried eggs is a disappointment. It is cold and tasteless. Definitely not a good choice.

Green Tea Cream with Red Bean Smile Jul 11, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : American | Coffee

Being a fan of the Green Tea Cream of starbucks, I will definitely want to try this seasonal Green Tea Cream with Red Bean. Given that there is red bean toppings, one will not be able to add whipped cream to it (unlike the usual Frappucino). Though this drink tastes good (in fact, it tastes similar to Green Tea Cream), I feel that there is nothing special. In fact, I think I still prefer the Green Tea Cream without Red Bean toppings. tongue

Recommended Seafood Fried Rice! Smile Jul 09, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

This place serves one of the best seafood fried rice! Not only is the portion is huge, it is tasty and the chef is very generous with the ingredients (sotong, fish and prawns). Super value for money! Highly recommend one to try it. smile If you have a Standard Chartered Card, you can get a free seafood paste strips (as shown in the 1st picture) when you spent more than $30. Honestly, I feel that this foc side dish is not something to wow about as the strips are kinda tiny and oily.

Thai Food Smile Jul 09, 2012

Categories : Thai | Restaurant

Am told by the waitress that this is the last day in which this restaurant gonna be at Parkway as the entire food court area will be under renovation. Despite the fact that there are quite a number of items which are unavailable (given that it is moving), I still managed to find something which I like. Ordered the Thai curry fish head which tastes super good. Simply love to eat it with rice. Yummy! The sambal kang kong also tastes quite good. Given that there isn't coconut ice-cream, they replace the red ruby ice-cream with vanila ice-cream. This is perhaps the reason why this dessert doesn't taste as good.

Lunch at Dome Smile Jul 09, 2012

Categories : Australian / New Zealand | Café | Western Soup | Steaks and Grills | Burgers and Sandwiches

Though most people visit this place for coffee/tea and desserts, I feel that this is a good place for lunch/dinner. Unlike most restaurants in Raffles Place, Dome is not crowded during lunch time. Hence, you do not have to waste time waiting for seats. Most importantly, the food tastes good. Ordered the grilled fish with fries and caesar salad which I will strongly recommend one to try it. Both the fish and salad taste really yummy. smile The sharing platter (as shown in the 1st pic) which consists of wedges, calamari, king prawns and chicken drumlets is also something which I will recommend one order for sharing.
