Big enough for 2! Smile Dec 06, 2011

Categories : Fusion | Restaurant

I have tried the mains here which isn't much to rave about. On top of that, I find it pretty overpriced! However, I absolutely love the desserts served here. One of them being the brownie with ice cream. The vanilla ice cream that is topped on the brownie was very creamy and they were generous by giving customers a pretty big scoop. The brownie was well baked and served warm! It had just the right amount of flavor. It wasn't too sweet either. It was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The ice cream complimented it very well! smile

Perfect Cupcakes! Smile Dec 05, 2011

Categories : French | Bakery

This place is definitely one of my favorites to get cupcakes! Their cupcakes may look tiny but they are rich in flavor and come in a variety. My personal favorite is the apple cinnamon as well as the chocolate ones. Not only do they look good, they taste awesome too! They also have some promo if you get a certain number of cupcakes at one go. I received countless compliments when I got take away's for my girlfriends! Most cupcakes contain a lot of icing at the top whereby the rest of the cupcake tastes pretty plain but at Sweets Garibaldi; their cupcakes are flavorful from the inside-out! will definitely be back for more!

Better then Fastfood Smile Mar 22, 2013

Categories : Steaks and Grills

What's better then fast food? Nando's of course! I absolutely love the idea that Nando's has vegetarian options even though their speciality as everyone knows is grilled chicken. My boyfriend's mum first spotted their veggie burger and loved it before my boyfriend brought me here. I must say, This has got to be the best vegetarian burger I have eaten - I dare say that haha! The sides have also, just about always left me spoilt for choice!

Ambience: Nando's has sim setted lighting yet bright enough to see your food. I love coming here for dinner's as it gives off a warm and cosy ambience! People of all ages and races come here and so do couples and huge families of 6! whatever the case, nando's always has room for you!

Service: Nando's is one place that cares a lot about customer service. Firstly, their welcoming staff is always situated near the doors to welcome customers, they offer kids balloons and they aim to please! They are prompt with re-filling bottomless beverages (soft drinks that are re-fillable free of charge).

The down side? I don't think they serve ice water! haha but that's fine seeing that their soft drinks are refillable! I usually bring a bottle of mineral water in my bag just in case things get too spiced up ;P

Nando's is also famous for their sauce called "Peri Peri" and when one orders their dish, the service crew usually asks customers on what level they'd like the spicyness to be at - I found this to be very considerate as well as innovative seeing that I love mine very very very perri perri haha and my friend might have been the total opposite!!

Food
Garlic bread

Garlic bread

I ordered a side of garlic bread which came in 2 pieces. Lightly Grilled, the garlic and butter was very well melted. The loaves were very soft and enticing!
VEGGIE BURGER

VEGGIE BURGER

Veggie Burger

I love the big portions of food! I ordered the veggie burger which basically came with a veggie patty, lettuce, tomatoes, perri perri sauce in between two pieces of soft bread! It was absolutely amazing and the patty was very well done! (contained mashed vegetables) and the sauces definitely brought the burgers to life 10/10! (you may request for cheese at $1)

I also ordred 2 order side - Coleslaw and Potato wedges! The coleslaw was very crunchy and tasted good. The potato wedges were spinked with a little peri peri powder to give it flavour and were not at all oily! I also ordered a bottomless beverage (fanta grape) which is re-fillable! (enough to set down the flames of the food!) lol

Whenever I visited this restaurant, I die to try their yummy looking desserts but more often then not, I am swamped and filled to the brim after eating my mains that I have no space for dessert! haha.

I will definitely be back to try more of this goodness!

Warning: The food here is really filling! lol

Cheesecake Fantasy Smile Oct 27, 2012
Categories : Ice Cream and Gelato

The recently established cold stone creamery has been a delight to both locals and tourists island wide. Having said that, they also have 2 other outlets located in the city area (Far East Square & Citylink Mall) and has grown to be one of my favorite places to get ice cream. The staff at these outlets are definitely a young bunch of talents that would catch your attention as they often toss ice cream around into cups and in the air as part of their acts. It takes a lot of skill and practice to get it right which I truly admire.

These outlets are often swamped with people especially on the weekends. There are loads of flavors to choose from and something for everyone! The ice cream comes in pure flavors as well as the outlet's signature creations. Customers also have the option of adding their own toppings which really does make it their own creation. This time round, I tried the cheese cake fantasy. Yes, you heard me. Soft, Creamy-licious Cheesecake Ice Cream enticed with Graham Cracker Pie Crust, Blueberries & Strawberries. My boyfriend, who was pretty spectacle about my choice, really enjoyed it in the end too. I do admit that I do get sick of chocolate once in awhile and thus this cheesecake scandal. I do recommend the yummy crispy waffle as well that's usually put at the base of your cup smile

Recommended to all cheesecake lovers & great for sharing! The ice cream comes in 3 sizes I reckon. We went for the medium or also known as "Love It". It was a perfect delight to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Do try out their cakes (sold only as a whole I'm afraid), smoothies & shakes! They are really good too, I swear by it ;)

Don't hold that cup for too long though! The ice cream does melt pretty fast (especially with no waffle!) lol

I spent $6.50 smile

If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for! check em out!

pleasent suppers Smile Apr 28, 2012

I have always loved this restaurant for supper's as its open 24/7. I was pleased to find a couple of new additions to the menu on this visit. Not only do they serve other cuisines but they have also introduced a variety of mock meat dishes.

Mock Mutton Biryani: Long grains of basmati rice which is used for biryani, cooked with all sorts of spices to bring out a detectable aroma. Chunks of perfectly cooked mock mutton pieces can be found in the biryani. This is definitely one of the best versions I have tasted. The meal also comes with raita (an Indian salad) as well as Kurma (a vegatable curry cooked in coconut milk). The meal is further complimented with crackers and a cup of lime juice. Its the ideal Indian meal 9/10

Paneer Tikka Masala: This dish is divine. There was a generous portion of paneer cubes (Indian cheese) which was then cooked in tantalizing gravy and aromatic spices. It complimented our meal very well and I have always made it a habit to order this dish when I'm at the restaurant.
