Was looking for a place to eat around town and nothing appealed to me nor my friend so we ended up going to cedele since we were passing by it...I got myself a Chocolate Truffle.It's supposedly their signature creations and was one of the top 10 dishes that got some award......When i tried it I was like..."whuuuuuuut" truffle is so not my thing! It doesn't taste the least bit chocolatey at all. I think it's supposed to taste like that......and there I was,thinking truffle was supposed to taste chocolatey. The only thing I like was the bottom of the cake..it had that biscutty taste...other than that,nahhhh.Not gonna have truffles again!

Have been indulging in lots of indian food lately.Dunno why but i've been craving for spicy food. I blame it on the weather Anyhoos, I was there because I needed to get my eyebrows done and we went to ananda bhavan for lunch. Shared a rava thosai with me cuzzie. The orange chutney that came with it was real good. In fact I had to ask them for more ;) the thosai tasted soooo crispy and good I tell you. Gosh, i think I'm craving for it again......This one's a MUST TRY!

P/S: If u want thosai with potato stuffings,ask for rava masala! ;)

Because the food at makan place is getting soooooooo boring, I dont have a choice but to eat at the nasi lemak stall whenever I head there. Have to say that the food is pretty cheap yet good...This time I bought my rice with sausages,sambal goreng. WOW,the aunty was toooo generous I should say. And all that for $2.80!! I actually pay almost double the price when I eat at SIM u know!

This one's for the onion lovers! If you like your prata with onions then you'll love this. This isn't prata though. Its appam+onions. I was quite turned off when I saw it but we've all learnt not to judge a book by its cover and so, I gave it a try and it actually wasn't bad at all! I actually had more than a bite and even my cousins agreed that it was pretty good after trying it. The flour was also pretty soft.Was a good try I would say!

After a 2 hour cycling session with my cousins,we went to have lunch at sakunthala's.I shared vegetarian rice with my cuzzie. It came with chutney, yoghurt, sambar and some other vegetable types. I thought it was abit bland and could have been more spicy. Or it could have been the cold weather that made me only want to have spicy food. ;)
