Have been indulging in lots of indian food lately.Dunno why but i've been craving for spicy food. I blame it on the weather Anyhoos, I was there because I needed to get my eyebrows done and we went to ananda bhavan for lunch. Shared a rava thosai with me cuzzie. The orange chutney that came with it was real good. In fact I had to ask them for more ;) the thosai tasted soooo crispy and good I tell you. Gosh, i think I'm craving for it again......This one's a MUST TRY!

P/S: If u want thosai with potato stuffings,ask for rava masala! ;)

Because the food at makan place is getting soooooooo boring, I dont have a choice but to eat at the nasi lemak stall whenever I head there. Have to say that the food is pretty cheap yet good...This time I bought my rice with sausages,sambal goreng. WOW,the aunty was toooo generous I should say. And all that for $2.80!! I actually pay almost double the price when I eat at SIM u know!

This one's for the onion lovers! If you like your prata with onions then you'll love this. This isn't prata though. Its appam+onions. I was quite turned off when I saw it but we've all learnt not to judge a book by its cover and so, I gave it a try and it actually wasn't bad at all! I actually had more than a bite and even my cousins agreed that it was pretty good after trying it. The flour was also pretty soft.Was a good try I would say!

After a 2 hour cycling session with my cousins,we went to have lunch at sakunthala's.I shared vegetarian rice with my cuzzie. It came with chutney, yoghurt, sambar and some other vegetable types. I thought it was abit bland and could have been more spicy. Or it could have been the cold weather that made me only want to have spicy food. ;)

When we were looking through the menu me and my cousins actually laughed because we came across dishes named after bush and obama.We decided to give obama a try and it came with yellow rice,egg and beef in some sauce. I liked how the egg was prepared..the egg yolk was soggy and spilled out when I cut the egg(YUMYUMYUM), The beef was really tender and good too!!
