Though I've always liked ria's empal penyet, I was craving for chicken that day so I decided to get their ayam penyet. As expected, their sambal belachan was madddd hot. You would need more than a bottle of water to get rid of the spicyness. The chicken was pretty good though. Chicken+a teeeeny bit of sambal+crumbs+tahu+white rice=SHIOK. Im sure lots of you would have tried their ayam penyet! Really good but the sambal can make you go crazy!!!

Ria's Ayam and empal penyet are THE best. Ever since the bf tried their empal penyet, i've been hooked to it. It basically comes with white rice and beef. OMG,their beef is to die for. It's extreeeeeemely soft and you dont have to spend half your time chewing your beef cos of how soft it is. OH their sambal belachan will make you breathe out smoke.Im not even kidding. TOO HOT TO HANDLE.

Was having a late night craving so i drove to holland with mum. Good thing the swensens there is 24 hours. My mum ordered Fish N chips (as always) and the fish was really good alright. Although my fav fish n chips is from manhattan fish market, the one from swensens isn't too bad too! I remember them serving it with tartar sauce but this time the set didnt come with the tartar sauce...(not like it matters cos we can still ask them for it smile

Mymy...Swensens was super crowded yesterday and the food took uber long to arrive. Gosh!Good thing is I wasn't in such a bad mood(yet) so I didn't mind. Anyhoos I ordered the Chicken in a basket,which came with fries, coleslaw and boneless chicken. The chicken was deep fried and for once, I didnt care. hehe. Swensens' fries is always fried to a nice golden brown and i loved it lol All in all, it was a good meal smile

Got a meal from potato depot this time and sadly, I only managed to take a picture of the soup because the boyfriend had alrdy tucked into the main dish -.- anyhoooos,the soup of the day was cream of mushroom and it tasted wonderfulllll.Honestly, I have never been to a place that serves terrible cream of mushroom soup. Its either that or I just love my mushroom soup. Then again, I dont think so cos i'm one fussy eater. hehe. anyway,this place is a must try!!!
