Sambal Stingray! Smile Oct 05, 2011   (Related Review)

Categories : Hawker Centre | Seafood | BBQ

A month back, I brought my friends to Rong Guang BBQ Seafood as we were craving for......SAMBAL STINGRAY!

Having been there before on several occasions with my family, I decided to introduce this restaurant to my friends who are huge fans of seafood, especially stingray.

The sambal stingray was served with a generous amount of sambal as well as onions and lady fingers on the top for decoration.

The meat was succulent and juicy and tasted great. However I feel that the sambal could be made spicier so as to give an added kick to it.

For the cost and generous portion, I would still say this is worth a try. Sambal lovers however might be a tad bit disappointed by the non-spicy sambal!

Prawn Rolls! Smile Oct 05, 2011

Categories : Hawker Centre | Seafood | BBQ

To celebrate my mum's birthday on Sunday, my family and I went to Rong Guang BBQ Seafood which is located at Alexandra Village Food Centre.

We have been there on several occasions before and the food has never failed to satisfy us. Instead of ordering our usual dishes such as Sambal Kangkong, we decided to give the Prawn Rolls a try and boy, was it good!!

The Prawn Rolls were fried well and was very crispy and it was stuffed with minced prawns and pork which was definitely a good combination as it was very juicy. It also came with a sweet sauce at the side. However, I'm not a huge fan of the Prawn Rolls in the sweet sauce and prefer eating it on it's own.

In total, we ordered 4 dishes and it only came up to a grand total of $38 for the 4 of us. For such generous portions and great food, it is definitely very reasonable and worth a try!

Hawaiian Paradise Smile Oct 04, 2011

Hawaiian Paradise Pizza consists of 100% Mozarella Cheese, Succulent Smoked Chicken Breast, Juicy Pineapples and Turkey Ham.

If the description doesn't already sound appealing enough, the taste will blow you away. I've always been a fan of Hawaiian pizzas and always try it out whenever I get to.

Domino's is definitely the top 3 places to go to for Hawaiian pizza. Also, it does delivery which is an added bonus!

Chocolate Mousse Cake Smile Oct 04, 2011
Categories : Bakery | Halal

For my birthday a few months back, my friends bought me a Chocolate Mousse Cake from Polar.

What I really loved about this cake is how it was light and could be eaten in excess without it being too creamy. This is because the cake consists of light chocolate sponge and creamy chocolate mousse which is a great balance.

Definitely a cake to try for those who do not like cakes that are too creamy or chocolatey as this has the right balance.

Coco Exotic Smile Oct 04, 2011

Decided upon Coco Exotic as I've tried it on several occasions and it never failed me once.

The cake is filled generously with chocolate mousse and a hazelnut base which gives a great crunch to the cake.

It comes at a very reasonable price for such great taste!
