Earth Kitchen - Bad lunch ever Cry Apr 15, 2011

Categories : Noodles | Kids-Friendly

It’s happened to pass by this café and saw it’s crowded at lunch time, so I give it a try. The space inside the café is very limited. The serving staff accidentally pours the hot soup on my friend’s pant and never apologizes. It’s already a bad start. I’ve ordered pork ribs noodles ($6.80) and my friend ordered the pork chop dried noodles ($6.50). Both dishes are tasteless. it's looks better than it's taste. The pork ribs noodles’ soup based taste like the prawn noodles’ soup based. I guess they are sharing the same soup based, unbelievable. I won’t visit this café again because the foods really bad, service is bad and it’s not worth that price as well.

Fast and nice breakfast OK Apr 15, 2011

McDonalds’ breakfast always the easy and fastest breakfast that you can get and it’s taste good too. They have Big Breakfast, Hotcakes with Sausage, McGriddles with Egg, Egg McMuffin and many more. Basically you can rotate the meal become your breakfast order each day. lol

I’ve ordered the Big Breakfast this time because I am tempted by the scrambled egg and the sausage. I don’t really like the toasted muffin. It’s too hard for me, I feel like it’s scratching my mouth, my throat when I eat it. But if you like the muffin, spread some butter on it, it will be good. The serving crews are friendly and they anticipate to serve customer maybe there is not many customer during weekdays’ morning.

Kim Choo Otah-Otah Smile Apr 14, 2011

It’s wonderful to get a whole box of Otah-Otah from Kim Choo kueh Chang for tea break. The Otah-otah size is shorter compare to the normal Otah-otah but its fat. Once I opened the banana leaf wrap, I could smell the aroma of the Otah-otah all over the room. The size of the fish paste is average but the color is nice. The spices that mixed into the fish paste are fantastic. Not too spicy but it’s become more spicy if you eat more. I keep open a new one and put into my mouth. It’s delicious!

Japanese Bento and Ramen OK Apr 14, 2011
Categories : Japanese

The queue for this café is only started when peak hour like lunch time. They serve ramen, bento, and rice bowl as well. You may complete your order as set meal by paying additional charges that come with drink and miso soup.

You need to queue to make your order and they will serve you your food. There are seats available although at peak hour. I’ve tried the Grilled Saba fish with rice. I wait for almost 15mins to get my food although their café is not full, I guess they need time to girll the fish?

The fish is not bad, the taste is not bad but it’s not very good. It’s still the new item in their menu. I should wait for a while to let them grow and improve their recipe smile

Jollibean Smile Apr 14, 2011

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Desserts and Cakes

Jollibean here is not long queue for all time because there are many bubble/ fruits drinks nearby this Tanjong Pagar Exchange. As what you can find from other Jollibean branches, you can find the Soya Milk, Pancakes, Rice Balls and so on selling there. I bought the regular size of cold soya milk. You must stir the drinks with your straw because they put the sugar syrup on the bottom of your cup. I didn’t notice it at first and it’s become too sweet the first slurp. I can say the sota milk is clean and fresh. if you are rushing for something and think of grabbing a drink. Jollibean here is a good choice because they serve you fast and it’s healthier smile
