This is the smaller version of Wimbly Lu nestled in the midst of Serangoon Gardens at MyVillage. Unlike their main outlet, Little Wimbly Lu has lesser seats, smaller dessert menu and portions, but quality remains the same (in a good sense).
Wimbly Lu specializes in desserts, savouries, cakes and waffles, which explains the quality offered here and in Three Years In A Balloon.
Got myself a flat white ($5). Pretty decent cup of coffee paired with waffles topped with Rum n Raisins and Salted Caramel ice cream.
This shall go into my article: Creameries & Waffles Worth Visiting In Singapore! It was fragrant, crisp on the outside, fluffy and airy on the inside. Indeed life's simple pleasures!
Love every bit of Little Wimbly Lu! I shall head back to Wimbly Lu again to do another review as I left that place with a neutral impression during my first visit.

Parc Sovereign Hotel is a newly established mid-tier class hotel along the stretch of Tyrwhitt Road. Value adding to this hotel chain is Babette Restaurant & Bar that features French-Japanese cuisine. This unpretentious yet hipster restaurant is the first of its kind along Tyrwhitt Road. With a capacity of 64 seats, Babette is a perfect spot for lunch, dinner and drinks all day, err day!

Salmon & Soba; Thick slices of confit salmon served on a bed of springy soba noodles with tamagoyaki.

Highlight of Babette will be their Babette Chirashi Donburi ($19); Marinated assortment of fresh sashimi, tamago, and tobiko on warm rice. Each mouthful was delightful and refreshing at the same time. Health conscious peeps, this is da bomb! It's Instagram worthy too! Apologize that my picture doesn't do justice due to lighting.

Chilli Crab Pasta; A classic Singaporean favourite that comes with evenly distributed crabmeat topped with skillfully fried soft shell crab. A familiar taste with a twist!

Lastly, Lava Macha with Vanilla Ice Cream which sent me straight to heaven!

There you go, a review of Babette. Food lovers, this is a place not to miss! Alert to all drinkers, this is another night spot to explore, but remember, don't drink and drive.

Will love to try their Crackling Pork ($10) which takes 48hr of slow cooking and roasted to perfection.

Segar Village is a stone throw away from the Sports Hub and Kallang MRT. This is the likes of Kampong Chai Chee and Habibie tze char that serves Halalcertified food with influence of Chinese flavours. As the name suggest (Segar which means 'fresh' in Malay), food are only served with fresh ingredients prepared by skillful chefs, thus assured of quality.

Besides operating as a regular tze char venue, Segar Village is open for functions and occasions with the ability to host 100 pax.

I've tried a number of dishes before, therefore I wouldn't go into detail for every one of them. However, the general consensus of this Segar Village is positive and highly recommended. You may check out their full menu HERE too.

Overall, this is a conducive for family gatherings and child friendly. Price is reasonable with wide choice of food.

Full review at http://lepakwithyaops.com/crab-in-da-bag-lip-smacking-asian-style-seafood-boil

Birthed from the concept of Louisiana seafood boil, seafood are served with 5 choices of home-made lip smacking Asian flavored sauces. Things will only get messy (or a lot messier) here, which depicts the true meaning of finger licking good!
Browsing through the menu, we decided to order from the Ala carte and skip the Caboodle Boil as we could select our choice of seafood instead. We had 4 x Sri Lankan Crabs ($55, 650-750g), 1 x Tiger Prawns ($26) and 1 x Boston Bay Mussels ($24).
Next up, choice of sauces! Tossed our crabs in Ultimate Curry and Mum's Special, Prawns with Salty Splash and Mussels with Caboodle Mix. Which was my favourite? ALL OF THEM, I kid you not! However, if I really (x 10) have to make up my mind, I vote goes to Mum's Special.
To start of proper, we ordered Sweet Potato Fries ($7), Mum's Chic Wings ($15) and Pita Bread to go with the sauces later.
The moment we all had been waiting for. My advise is to snap your pictures, do your quality checks before letting the good times roll!
There you have it, Crab in da Bag! The sauces were truly amazing and one of its kind! Kudos to the creator!

Debut in 2003 at West Coast, business of Ju Shin Jung Korean BBQ took flight and has 4 outlets island wide today; West Coast, East Coast,GuillemardRoad and Robertson Walk. Despite the craze for Korean BBQ in Singapore, yet each outlet that I visited has subtle differences that sets them apart from one another.
Here at Ju Shin Jung, they offer full services which includes well-trained staffs who BBQ-ed the meat for us and served a full set of Korean sides the moment we settled down.
For buffet, there are 5 choices of meat (pork belly, pork loin, marinated pork, and marinated chicken & seasoned sliced beef) and fresh prawns. If you want more variety, you may wish to order from the Ala carte segment. Wagyu beef are available too!
Apart from meat and sides, we got to choose 1 out of 7 choices as our main dish.
Overall, I will classify Ju Shin Jung Korean BBQ as a 'above average' BBQ outlet. Tables are nicely spaced out as well which gave us room for privacy. Oh yes, there is also a kids entertainment corner for your child.
