Me and three of my vaccinated friends wanted buffet on a Friday, after a long week and we decided on Thai mookata. Where else except Golden Mile and we were on our way.To our surprise, the place was quite busy with people. Safe-distancing ambassadors were in sight so that gave us added comfort.
Selection of good was served as ordered. Food is fresh and location of Ninja is in the main foyer so it gives the feeling of outdoor dinning minus the humidity.  Spread of food is good with my favourite crayfish. Red meat such as pork aand beef were well marinated and delicious. Although dinning was allowed for 2 hours, they were not time-watchers and we were there beyond the allowed 2 hours, well fed and fully satisfied.
Highly recommended for mookata buffet.

A hidden gem nestled amongst many eateries along Joo Chiat Road. From the outside, this is a place which you wouldn't even catch your attention except for the crowd. Often packed with customers during dinner (especially on weekends), this is certainly a no-frills chinese restaurant.

The menu is not extensive at all with limited items; but you'll get what you what from seafood, to meat and vege dishes. Ambiance is simple and so is the food presentation.

The best part here is definitely the food. We ordered a fish, to go with fried chicken wings, baby kailan, etc. Excellent food at a very competitive price. Fish was fresh and really well cooked. The baby kailan was also very good and tasty.

Highly recommended! Will definitely be back, many times!

Small, simple cafe located in Level 1 of a boutique hotel. Tried the beef burger and thought it was quite good. They beef patty was generous and succulent. Would recommend it and definitely will be back to try other dishes.

Categories : Vietnamese

This place takes my vote for the best Vietnamese restaurant in Singapore. It is prepetually crowded and best to go early i.e. before 6.30pm for dinner or expect to queue for at least 15 minutes.

Their phos are excellent; my favourite being their beef pho. The soup is deliciously tasty (not overly salty) and beef is nicely sliced and very tender. Servings are generous as well.

Do try the spring rolls and fried quail too. The spring rolls are exceptionally fresh and goes well with the vietnamese sweet sour sauce. The fried quail is well marinated in honey and very tasty.
