Tako balls Smile Mar 15, 2012

Categories : Japanese

There wasn't a long queue and hence we decided to try it. The balls were crispy on the outside and soft and tasty in the inside, the tako that was inside was fresh and chewy, overall i really enjoyed the tako balls. I think it is worth the wait. Pricing was slightly high though, about $0.80 per ball.

Lenas OK Mar 15, 2012

We ordered the hawaiian pizza and smoked duck pasta to share. Serving was really small, definitely not for average or big eaters. The cream sauce of the smoked duck pasta was quite flavourful, the duck slices were not bad too. The pizza was hot and crispy but it only tasted average. Ambience was good, i think it is a great place to chill.

Super long queue but we decided to try it out as we had the porridge craving. We waited about half an hour to get our food. We ordered fish + chicken porridge, fish + century egg porridge and raw fish slices to share. The porridge is really smooth and tasty and the serving is generous and everything also costs $9. Overall, i think it is worth the long wait.

Delicious pork katsu Smile Mar 15, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant

Serving was huge, was very full and satisfied after finishing. The pork slices were freshly cooked, thick, tasty and well-fried and the egg and pork slices were more than enough for the rice, unlike some other pork katsu rice set with lotsa rice and small portion of fried meat and egg. I think this is a must try for Japanese food lovers!

Freshness Burgers Smile Mar 15, 2012

We has the classic chicken cheese burger, baby cakes (rosti) and mashed potato. The chicken was hot and tasty, the bread was fresh and soft, overall i must say the burger was really delicious! The baby cakes were too oily though they tasted good as well. Mashed potato was average. We also had the summer berries soda and cold earl grey tea. The summer berries soda was too sweet for me, whereas the tea was refreshing. Good service as well, overall it was a good dining experience and I will definitely patronise again!
