Was out with my muslim friend and she recommended me to the Mackenzie Rex Restaurant at Prinsep street for a catch up lunch! We ordered 2 portions of chicken with rice as well as its sambal kang kong!

The sambal kang kong really packs a punch which its fiery, and spicy chilli. The chicken however, was slightly dry for my liking, although the rice was fragrant.

My colleague bought us some bean curd from Richie Beans and it was my virgin experience!

The bean curd was very special, and unlike normal bean curds, the ones from richie beans it more jello and pudding like! The bean curd itself was very smooth and slides down your throat. Apart from being kind of powdery at the bottom, i really enjoyed the bean curd!

As my colleague and I were early for work, we decided to grab some breakfast at Mcdonalds which was nearby! I ordered the sausage mcmuffin with egg breakfast set meal which came with a drink (milo) and a hashbrown!

The hashbrown was freshly fried and thus was crispy on the outside and fluffy (and hot!) on the inside! Yummy!

One of my favourite places to dine at for cheese cakes has to be at The coffee bean & tea leaf, for its yummylicious raspberry cheese cake!

I like how the tangy taste of the raspberry takes away the overly 'cheeseness' of the cheese cake, so you will not have to worry about feeling sick when consuming the entire cake!

The Icing Room  (Serangoon)

It was my birthday and my boyfriend told me to pick out a cake to celebrate! Since there was only two of us, i choose to get a single slice instead.

While passing by the icing room outlet at nex, the pretty cakes on display caught my eye and i pick out this one!

 
However... although i looked very visually pleasing, it was not appetizing at all! The raspberries tasted weird and the cheese cake itself was awful.

Don't think that i'll be a return customer any time soon!
