Ebi rice burger Smile Mar 20, 2012

One of my favourites from Mos Burger has to be its rice burgers, and after a hard day of work (it was about 10pm) at that time, i decided to get a meal from Mos Burger with my boyfriend at Junction 8!

I ordered my favourite ebi rice burger meal, which came with it's delicious thick cut fries and drink!

Of course, i opted for their milk tea which was fragrant and sweet, the nicer alternative to soft drinks! I also love their thick cut fries with its crispy skin and soft, hot and fluffy insides! The ebi rice burger was delicious as always, and i love the prawn 'pancake' batter in the middle!

Staff here were nice even though it was late.

Famous Amos Smile Mar 20, 2012

Famous Amos is one of my favourite cookie chains in Singapore, and can be found in most shopping centres here.

I don't usually purchase cookies from famous amos as i find them a little costly, so occasionally, i will indulge in a bit of its yummy treats when i am feeling slightly rich!

Anyways, i ordered my favourite macadamia cookie, which smells super good and stayed crunchy even when it was left out for half a day! It had just the right amount of crunch and sweetness, and coupled with the macadamia nut, this cookie just tops my list!

House of seafoooooood Smile Mar 19, 2012

A managed to get a coupon deal at house of seafood where i was able to get 50% off 70g of crabs, and since it was such a great deal, i brought 2 of my good friends along with me on our great chilli crab feast!

We ordered 2 chilli crabs and 7 fried man-tou to go with its delicious sauce and garlic stir fried kailan and hot plate tofu!

The chilli crab was a hit with all of us and although it was just a tad spicy for one of my friend and i, we really enjoyed it with the fried buns! The Crab was fresh and filled with loads of flesh! (unlike some stalls where the crabs are really tiny and shrunken)

The hotplate tofu was also very delicious and slightly spicy, and we loved its gravy so much, that we cleaned the entire plate!

The kailan was pretty normal!

calpis mango au lait, Smile Mar 19, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

My boyfriend and i were feeling rather adventurous and decided to order something other than our usual milk tea at the gong cha outlet at jubilee, ang mo kio.

We finally decided on the calpis mango au lait, which was a very complex and difficult to pronounce name for a drink!

To our surprise, it tasted much like a mango yogurt drink, but it was not bad at all. I like how refreshing the mango and yogurt combination was in this drink, and it had just the right amount of sweetness.

Red milk tea Cry Mar 19, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I was recommended by a friend of mine to try out cup walker's bubble tea and so i went on and ordered myself a cup of red milk tea!

Considering it's portion ( a huge cup for $1.30+) it is one of the cheaper bubble tea stores in Singapore. However, i was sadly disappointed with their milk tea as it lacked the tea fragrance good milk teas should have! Additionally, i asked for less sugar (as my friend's one was extremely sweet) and mine came out... tasteless!

Rather disappointed with cup walker i must say, but i might still give it a try one day.
