Lunch at Tian Tian Maxwell Smile Mar 29, 2012

Categories : Hainanese | Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

Lunch at Tian Tian was a delight. even though the environment was quite noisy and not as clean which you can expect from a hawker centre. We managed to find a seat from the crazy crowd. I ordered the famous hainanese chicken rice from Tian Tian and they are popular for that. They only sell Steam chicken rice and this is the dish that will test the skills of the cook. The crucial point is how to make the chicken tender. Their steam chicken is really tender and smooth, the texture is fantastic. The price is very reasonable at $4 per plate. The chilli is very shiok. It compliments the chicken rice totally.

Went to City Square mall at Kitchener Road for dinner with my friends. We ordered quite a number of dishes. I personally like the Xin Hua Fried Bee Hoon. The bee hoon is very thin and fine but the texture is chewy and nice. The price is quite reasonable at around $10. The serving is pretty good. As for dessert, i order my favourite yam paste with gingko nut. it only cost $4. very satisfied dinner

Dim Sum lunch at Peach garden Smile Mar 29, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

We ordered dim sum this time round for our team outing. The quality of the dim sum is really splendid comparable with those in Hong Kong. Prices are more expensive of course. However, it is totally worth it. It cost us about $30 per pax for a varieties of dim sum. My personal favourite is the carrot cake and the chee cheong fun. The carrot cake is not oily and is crispy on the outside. The chee cheong fun is smooth and stuffed with lots of ingredient. It is really money well spent.

Had Team lunch at Peach Garden level 33 of OCBC centre. It is a fantastic place with good view and nice cozy ambience. hard to get seats if there is no reservation. We order the set lunch menu which cost about $40 per pax. They have dishes like fish, veg, meat, soup and dessert. I personally favour the roasted meat platter. The meat are well roasted and very sweet tasting.

Lunch at Harboufront Sushi Tei Smile Mar 29, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

I would say i have visited almost all the outlets of sushi tei in Singapore. I personally favour Harbourfront the most. Mainly due to its service and its cozy environment. Wanting to have something soupy, i order the udon soup. It is kinda plain but it taste well. it cost me around $10. The noodles is very smooth and chewly. Although there wasnt much ingredients but the soup was great.
