Lunch at Tian Tian Maxwell Smile Mar 29, 2012

Categories : Hainanese | Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

Lunch at Tian Tian was a delight. even though the environment was quite noisy and not as clean which you can expect from a hawker centre. We managed to find a seat from the crazy crowd. I ordered the famous hainanese chicken rice from Tian Tian and they are popular for that. They only sell Steam chicken rice and this is the dish that will test the skills of the cook. The crucial point is how to make the chicken tender. Their steam chicken is really tender and smooth, the texture is fantastic. The price is very reasonable at $4 per plate. The chilli is very shiok. It compliments the chicken rice totally.

Ordered my favourite Thai food - Stir fried Basil Leaf chicken with rice at Aroy Thai. It tastes heavenly and it is one of the best i have eaten. The taste is just rice, not too salty or spicy and it goes well with the Thai white rice. The price is very reasonable only SGD5 plus i ordered a Thai Iced tea. my total meal only cost me around SGD 8. I certainly enjoyed my Saturday dinner,

Dinner after movie at Wisma Atria Food Republic today evening. We order the famous hokkien prawn noodle there. It is my personal favorite and one of the best fried prawn noodles i have ever eaten. It cost us SGD 4.80 for the small plate. It is kinda of steep for prawn noodles but judging for its location, it is quite ok. and the taste has never disappoint me. Please try it!!!!!!!!!

Lunch at Ampang Niang Tau Foo Smile Mar 22, 2012

Never try a dry style Yong Tau Foo that is so yummy. The ingredients are nicely fried to the extent that it is not too dried but still juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The taste is simply unforgettable. I could finish the whole plate by myself. Depending on the ingredients you choose, mine cost me about $7. Looking at the serving the price is really reasonable and the quality is really good. a good lunch that made my day

After work, we went to nearby Pu Tien at Marina square for dinner. Starved with hunger, i order a small Lor Mee and finished it all by myself. Normally i would share it with my friends as the serving for small is still quite large. It only cost me $7.90 and the taste is splendid. I love the Lor Mee at Pu Tien. highly recommended to try it out if you have not. cheap and good. it makes my day smile
