I was one of the lucky persons to be invited by Nando's to enjoy a lunch treat of designated Peri-Peri Chicken meals and bottomless soft drinks for 2 at their outlet located at JCube. Since hubby had to go to work, I decided to take my son along with me. We arrived there at 1.00 in the afternoon for lunch. We were greeted by smiling staff and then I was asked to select a chit from the lucky draw box. To my good luck I won a meal for 2. We were then invited in and greeted by the staff with Bom Dia!! Once we were seated, the waitress came and told me that we would be getting to enjoy Angry Mango Burger with 2 sides and A Chicken Wraps with two sides. For the sides we selected Mediterranean Rice and Wedges sprinkled with Peri Sprinkle, plus a complimentary Algarve Salad and bottomless drinks. We selected a Coke and Sprite.Our food arrived nice and hot after a wait of about 8mins, but it was worth the wait since the food had a delicious aroma and tasted yummy.The Algarve Salad is nice a crunchy and really very fresh. It is a combination of A medley of leaves, rocket, mixed peppers, roasted cashew nuts, marinated sundried tomatoes and feta cheese. I really enjoyed the salad specially the crispy crunchy cashew nuts. The dried tomatoes had a sweet tangy taste and it goes very well with the salad adding a special flavour to it.My son enjoyed his chicken wraps with had some salad and chicken chunk in it and was nice and soft and very fresh. The Mediterranean Rice and Wedges sprinkled with Peri Sprinkle are lovely just the way they are. The rice is slightly spiced and has bits of veggies in it and the wedges are so nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside and goes well with the wrap. The Angry Mango Burger is delicious and the bread is done to perfection and nice and soft and has a spread of mango and a chunk of chicken I guess since it tasted like that...not quite sure thou But you really ought to taste it as it is very delicious.

My son celebrated his 8th birthday this year and told us he wanted black forest cake. So I headed over to Emicakes to buy it for himThe nearest outlet was Woodlands Causeway point and they are located at the B1 and I had no problems finding the outlet. After browsing through the cake in the showcase I finally found this one and right enough it was a Black Forrest Cake. I managed to get this lovey cake 0.6kg cake at a reasonable price of $26.40. I was thrilled and made my way homeMy son loved his birthday cake and I soon decorated it with candles and it looked gorgeous The cake had layers of soft sponge and chocolate that just melted in the mouth and it tasted really yummy. I had made a right choice to go to Emicakes since their cakes are always fresh and so delicious

Thanks to Facebook and The Manhattan Pizza Co. I won a 20" pizza from them and I was more than excited and happy about it!Last Saturday, we decided to go there for lunch and redeem our Pizza. We arrived there at 1.00 and I went to the counter to place my order. I had a choice of 4 pizza options and I selected the Hawaiian Pizza. After placing my order I headed over to our table and we waited for our pizza to arrive. While we were waiting, I looked around the restaurant and I really loved the nice and cozy ambiance it had and what's more cool is that they have a free WiFi connection and I started to check my facebook and mails Our pizza arrived shortly and the kids got really very excited looking at the huge 20" pizza!! They just couldn't wait to start eating it! I quickly took a few pictures and then sat to enjoy the pizza myself.The pizza is huge and has loads of pineapples, ham and lots of stretchy chewy cheese. Not too many frills but just good enough The pizza was nicely sliced and baked to perfection and yes it is irresistible one you've had a bite of it, and then you even forget to talk all you can think of is eat eat eat. We had a real lovely pizza day at The Manhattan Pizza Co. and the kids are still talking about it.Not to forget you can redeem your free key chain, that allows you an upsize. We headed over to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for dinner as we were around the place. We went in quickly glanced at the menu on the wall and decided on our order of
1 Chicken Sandwich Combo Meal (cajun fries and upsize drink) - 10.90
1 Chicken Combo (biscuit and regular coke) - 7.20
1 Munchers Pepper Nuggets - 3.90

The meal was great and I specially enjoyed the sandwich which had a big chunk of crispy chicken and a layer of my favorite mayonnaise sauce and crunchy lettuce. The Cajun fries were delicious and the kids enjoyed the crispy chicken and the pepper nuggets which very delicious too. The biscuit is nice as well and we really enjoyed dinning at Popeyes.

We visited Shakey Pizza on the 8th of October for dinner as we had to claim our free 9" pizza voucher that I won through their contest on FB. They have a nice, cozy and welcoming place and the ambiance there is quite good too. We ordered the Pepperoni Passion thin crust pizza and a then placed an order for our kid. He wanted to have the Chick-Ka-Doo kids meal. We also ordered for a coke. The 9" pizza arrived pipping hot and the crust was too thin but it tasted really good. It had a lot of cheese, pepperoni and was nice n crisp and we really enjoyed it. The kids meal had 4 pieces of Chicken Nuggets - nicely fried and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, 4 pieces of Mojos - Mojo's are potatoes chips, which were fried to perfection and tasted really very nice, Butter Corn and a Vitagen drink.
