dinner before my night safari Smile Nov 30, 2010

I reached this stall at 7:30pm and we are already their last customer.

They served us a 3 paxs share of Yong Tou Fou and we will greeted with a mountain of veggie (Kangkong, lady finger and etc.) Healthy.

The gravey is thick with the authetic ampang taste. I personally likes the crispy beancurb dumpling.

The environment is old style shop house facing greenery. It's does have a kampong feel though.

Best claypot rice in East Region Smile Nov 30, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

This stall is famous for it's claypot rice and I would think it's the best in East Region. West Region would be the Clementi's stall.

The claypot serving is generous and the rice cooks to its perfection with chunks of meats and mushrooms. This stall is so popular that it's even well-known among the tourist and expat.

Please expect to wait for at least 30mins for your food during peak hours or you can pre-book your order via phone. They're using the traditional charcoal style and it's simply heaven.

Carpark lot is a challenge though..

mouth watering soup Smile Nov 30, 2010

Once I stepped out of my car, I can smell the fragrance of the famous pig organ soup.
As usual, dinner time, and the stall was buzzing away taking order.

I ordered my share and tucked in the clear soup with rice.

The wonder of the soup is the soup base itself, it's thick and not too salty as some pig organ soup does.

They also carries some others dishes e.g. minced pork and veggie.

Come if you want a simple yet mouth watering meal.

Carpark lot can be very limited especially meal hours.

Healthy value for $$ meal  Smile Nov 30, 2010

Categories : Italian | Restaurant

I always like to have a healthy and hearty meal in The Soup Spoon.

They serves quality and value for $$ food. Especially their add-ons to complete a meal set. You can complete the meal with a side (either half salad or sandwich) apple or chip and 1 drink. I always feel full after the meal but always gulit free too.

Recently they revamped the royalty card and you can get a price rebate when you chalk up 100 points. Trust me, it's not difficult to get 100 points. You can simply tell the staff your mobile number if you forget your royalty card and they'll be able to add the relevant points into your profile. Save your hassle to bring the card along everywhere.

2 thumbs up.

I saw this new creation, peanut butter flavor yogurt and can't help but get 1 cup to try.
The aroma of peanut butter filled up my mouth once I struck it into my mouth and I believe anyone who likes peanut butter will like this new creative flavor too.

It's Fat free too, so you can stay gulit-free.
