Categories : Coffeeshop

Here is one of the weekend makan place for me, it is situated just a few blocks away from my hse. I love the tea from this stall, cause the uncle always brew nice aroma tea. Together with a set of eggs and toasted, it is only 2.80. it is one of the hot spot for uncles during weekend. the coffee shop is always full, it is abit difficult to get seats too.

Nice and cosy place Smile Jul 04, 2012

i visit the soup spoons' outlets during non-peak hours, usually around 8 pm for my snack w monthly chefs' special, mostly just a bread bowl with my selected soup at only $10 with NTUC card.
This location is slightly dim and hidden in the crowded raffles xchange. This place is especially quiet and nice to go for catch ups i.e. during non peak hours. I believe soup spoon have one of e best and practical credit system where i can use to offset real cash value in my next order. And with great food, it makes me a loyal customer.

Nice thai food Smile Jul 03, 2012

We hadn't eaten at a Thai Express for a while. Last week, looking for something to eat whilst at Jurong Point we found a row of restaurants under a glass roof several floor above. It was nice and light and felt like eating outdoors but with aircon!

We had some of the set meal deals which provided 3 courses of food at a bargain price. We had the crispy prawn fried rice set and the green curry set and tom yum fish set which included salad and a dessert. Everything was fresh and fragrant and delicious. The crispy pancake tasted great but wasnt very crispy.

Overall it was tasty, efficient service and very reasonably priced.

Wo Peng Cuisine Smile Jul 03, 2012

With the vouchers bought oneline, The food is certainly satisfactory, most of the dishes recommended were good and there was nothing to complain about. However, the prices were abit steep for a restaurant that sometimes felt more like a zhi char place than a proper restaurant.
However, it is a Cantonese restaurant run by Chef Julian Tam that apparently specializes in Poon Choi. So the price is acceptable.

Favourite Biscult from popeyes Smile Jul 03, 2012

The chicken was well marinated and well fried. The portion was big too. It was very crispy outside, and the meat inside was juicy and yet tender. However, the spicy chicken was nowhere near my standard of "spiciness" and I would have hoped if it could be spicier and hotter, the better. Anyway, well done! I think the chicken was good, better than KFC.

The biscuit bread was bland but when you have applied the jam onto it and eat it, it "suddenly" became so tasty and it was such a good match.

The Cajun fries was ok, though some of them were slightly over fried and a bit burnt. But they tasted fine too. However, I still prefer the fries from McDonalds.

Service was ok. Despite of the long queue, we could order and receive our orders within given timing. In addition, crew also cleared tables promptly.
