Dian Xiao Er Smile Apr 24, 2012

Dian xiao er is one of the branches under soup restaurant. This latter specializes in their roast ducks. However, my favorite dish is the Stir Fried Lotus Root with Macadamia Nut which is a great dish for all nut lovers out there. Whipped up with a variety of colorful, great tasting vegetables and a generous amount of crunchy macadamia nuts, it is visually enticing as well as gastronomically. A dish that would make nut lovers go nuts or you, the no so nut loving ones, complain there is a little too much macadamia nuts in there. I didn’t order the roast duck, will order next time and review accordingly.

This is a good place for big group gathering. Price is right and deco is good. Service is fast and plates are cleared very fast. Overall, this is a good buffet place for this price due to the good choice of spread. Price/location is right too. Will be back again if there's craving for buffet again. The service is good,
Staffs cleared plates very quickly. Good service.

Kiseki Buffet Smile Apr 18, 2012

I was there for dinner on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend and his friend. It wasn't crowded at all, probably because The Heeren was undergoing some renovation. It was priced at $30 plus per pax for adult. A little pricey but was worth the money.

There is free flow of salmon sashimi, chawanmushi, teppanyaki, ramen etc. all the Japanese favourite cuisine in Singapore, you named it, they have it. Desserts and ice cream are also available. It is totally an eat-to-your-content if you are a Jap food lover!

Egg Benedict Smile Jul 31, 2012

We ordered the Eggs Benedict ($16) and Brioche French Toast ($15), hoping that the taste and quality of the food would put the smiles back on our faces after the not-so-nice time we were having so far. H had the former and said it was standard fare. My Brioche French Toast was a let-down. The Brioche was dense and heavy. The egg batter coating was thin and the maple syrup was the sort that never saw the inside of a tree. Personally, I thought there was neither wafting fragrance nor visual seduction with the food here.

Nice place to chill Smile Jul 31, 2012

Ambience was great, service was prompt. Generally a good experience but not worth the value if you are there for BBQ. If I did not have vouchers given to me I would not have tried out the place.

I took the Kurotabo Pork set for 2 and additional Pork Collar and Wagyu(can't recall which part).

Wagyu was tasty but the pork tasted common.

Spent about $60+/person. Would rather go to a good Korean BBQ restaurant.
