The Bo Luo Pau With Butter :)) Smile Dec 29, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Bakery | Kids-Friendly

Have you ever try the bo luo pau with butter? Frankly speaking,I have not seen or try the pau with butter before, even in hongkong. But I saw that in "Crystal Jade My Bread" and it was selling for $1.50 per piece. It was well worth it for the bo luo pau not only big in size but having an extra slice of butter inside the pau make it so so much outstanding in taste. You can taste the sweetness and the slightly salty of the bo luo pau all in one bite.
Very much enjoy and like it smile)

Spending per head: Approximately $1.50(Lunch)

Super Nice Thai Food, Must Try ! Smile Dec 29, 2010

Categories : Thai

A-Roy's thai restaurant was still the best so far for their authentic thai food. It's a family business and they are thais,so it's no joke about their quality of thai food served. Their stuffed chicken wing was the nicest one I had ever taste. It was stuffed with meat, garlic and other ingredients. As for their pineapple fried rice,it was topped with pork floss. The fried rice was well fried and soft, not too oily and with generous amount of pineapples. Not forgetting there's a few cooked fresh prawns inside the rice too. The best is yet to come and it's their tom yum gung with seafood. It's not spicy at all, just taste sour and it's the original and authentic tom yum seafood soup I had taste in bangkok before. The soup was clear soup,my favourite type. With fresh ingredients like fish, prawns, squids, mushrooms and spices, no wonder it makes the soup so outstanding smile))

Very Nice Dim Sum Smile Dec 29, 2010

Dim sum at crystal jade was still the nicest I had try. Ordered a few of their dim sum for breakfast - egg tarts, siew mai and pan fried dumpling with prawn and parsley and had a filling dim sum meal. The egg tarts was tastefully baked, the crust was soft and the egg custard can smell the frangrant of the eggs itself. Siew mai was tasty and stuffed with generous meat too. As for the pan fried dumpling with prawn and parsley,it was not oily at all. It was super nice and it was my first time trying this dim sum. Never imagine it could be so tasty. Yes,must must try their dim sum smile)

Mini Buddha Jump over the wall Smile Dec 15, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

Went to "The Chinese restaurant" at Raffles Town Club for lunch gatherings with friends.
One of our special dish that we ordered was the mini buddha jump over the wall. It has a reasonable size of one abalone, sea cucumber, shark fins, scallops all in a good stock that makes the soup. The soup is really tasty, and you can really feel the sweetness and the goodness of all the ingredients inside this mini buddha soup. Can't remember the price but it doesn't come cheap. They also have dim sum, dishes like fish, meat, chicken and vegetables too. If you are in for fine dining, can give it a try smile)

The porridge in crystal jade was one of the nicest one I ever try. And my favourite was the roasted duck with chicken in porridge. The porridge was well cooked and soft as in the cantonese style of cooking. With generous roasted duck meat and chicken in the porridge,no wonder it makes it so outstanding. As for their char siew chang fun,it was soft and wrapped with good amount of the char siew too. It was really nice and tasty. smile Can try,go try, must try !
