Burger King now serves 24 desserts, with a variety of hot drinks, sundaes, apple pie, chicken tenders, salads, etc. I like a number of these desserts, including the Triple Milo Chocolate (ice cream with Milo flavours), and the Hershey's cake, Dutch Apple (apple pie) and the Chicken Tenders.

If you used to think that BK only serves burgers, go visit BK one day.

I like the Jurong Point branch because there are a lot of the wide brown seats outside the restaurant - a fresh change from the polystyrene or plastic chairs you see in many other fast-food chains. It is located at the part of JP where they are generally less people... so you can bring your laptop there and surf for hours...

This shop serves generally smooth coffee. If you are sick of coffee drunk at outside coffee shops, do try out Old town Coffee for a change. Do note that you could also purchase Old Town brand's instant coffee at supermarkets & shops.

For food wise, there is a variety of noodles. I wouldn't say the noodles are specially tasty, but here is a good place to eat if you could not find a seat at nearby foodcourts during lunch or dinner hours. As about $4 to $6 price per bowl, it is more pricy than foodcourt price but for the ambience, this is the extra price you pay.

i like to go there during a hot afternoon for a coffee & just laze around...

The Samsui Chicken is the highlight of the restaurant.
Served in a plate with the chicken slices arranged in a circular fashion, you dip the chicken pieces into garlic sauce placed in the middle.

I would say the chicken is soft, though not fully cooked. Nevertheless worth a try if you go there for the 1st time and is confused about what to order. However, at about $28++, a price much higher than most of its other dishes, this dish seems a little overpriced.

Do try the "Ah Gong" sweet potato vegetables, which is mildly spicy. If you do not take spiciness, opt for the "Ah Po" version in the menu, which is non-spicy.

The restaurant gets crowded during weekends. The atmosphere there is ok.

I've patroned Fish & Co for a number of years. Am always fascinated with the variety of fish choices in their menu. I recently patronized them again after about 2 years break, and am pleasantly surprised that they now offer choices beyond the usual seafood and fish - like the peri-peri chicken cum Arctic fish combo. It costs about $20 before GST, but it is delightfully warm & soft, though a little too oily on the surface. For a second I thought I was looking at a menu belonging to Nandos!

The seafood platter is my usual favourite, and again it didn't disappoint with its variety and juiciness. If cholesterol is not an issue for you, this is the dish to go for!

Pin Si located in Safra Yishun is not really an accessible place for those without a car, but it still is a reputable restaurant which has quite a fair share of fans who are willing to travel there (or the other branch at Ang Mo Kio Hub).

The restaurant serves generally ok Chinese food, and there isn't any particular outstanding dish which I want to specifically mention. However, the lo hei which we had then was a memorable one. It has a variety of dishes & yummy sauces, and I find myself finishing my share of lo hei efficiently. What's more, the staff are friendly and attentive, which makes my family outing an enjoyable one.

Will be back there for another round of lo hei next year!
