Tasty BBQ! Smile Mar 15, 2011

Time for DIY BBQ-ing at Seoul Garden and splashing of oil droplets onto my hand again! tongue Their outlet at Northpoint is quite small but still had everything in place. Glad that they had changed their pricing strategy to include free-flow of drinks (including coffee, tea and milo)!

They have various food sections: non-cooked food, drinks, fried food, cook your own noodles and dessert (ice-cream, ice kachang, fruit, cakes). Their char siew and garlic chicken are my favourites! They even have coffee chicken!

Over to their cooked food section, there's spring rolls, prawn crackers, black pepper chicken, fish and fried rice. Love the fried rice best! Their ginseng chicken noodles, however, was not to my liking. The soup tasted bland, too much water instead of chicken flavour.

Lastly for desserts, I like to eat the chocolate brownie with warm drinks/ice-cream. Sweeeeeet!

Great Indian food Smile Mar 14, 2011

Some people, such as my friends and I may refrain from ordering from this stall as they do not know the type of food that were sold. Some food looked alike; bearing the colour of curry. Nonetheless, I did order their prata and found that their other dishes, though looked the same, had their own unique taste.

During the recent visit, I ordered their briyani with mutton and spicy tau pok, topped off with a plain prata. Their briyani was not too dry and not too moist, very fragrant rice indeed! I’m looking forward to try other dishes from their stall, especially since they had done very well with their meat and toufu dishes.

BBQ buffet OK Mar 07, 2011

Located in a convenient location at Suntec City Mall, The Terrace offers BBQ buffet at an outdoor dining setting. This buffet is only available on Friday, Saturday and eve of public holidays. To start off, grab a plate and pile food items such as steak, chicken, baby back ribs, sausages and seafood onto it. Then, pass the plate and table number clip to the chef who will barbeque them for you. After that, just wait at your seat and the waiters will serve the food to you. Not much food items to choose from but the buffet comes with free flow of juices such as fruit punch, orange and cranberry; and desserts such as cut fruits and a variety of kueh. The Terrace is worth visiting for an outdoor BBQ experience with friends!

Give me more, more! Smile Mar 07, 2011

Normally I buy bird’s nest found in supermarkets, so when I came across Dragon Brand Bird’s Nest, I find it costly. Though their bird’s nest cost a little pricey for me, it is definitely worth it! Packed in individual bottles and sealed in canisters, the quality of the bird’s nest is guaranteed. This is the best bird nest that I had ever tasted! The sweetness is just right and I get to savour huge strips of bird’s nest. It’s really a soothing and refreshing treat!

Teppan combos! OK Mar 06, 2011
Categories : Japanese | Food Court | Japanese BBQ/Teppanyaki

This stall offers a variety of Teppanyaki food choices, served piping hot. The 2-in-1 Teppan Sliced Pork and Curry Chicken set comes with a bowl of rice and soup. The onions and black pepper sauce do justice to the sliced pork, but I wouldn’t say the same for the curry on the chicken, which tastes neither like spicy Indian curry nor sweet Japanese curry. A spoonful of meat, a spoonful of rice and a spoonful of soup make up a satisfying routine to savour this dish. It is oily and a little over-priced though.
