donut Smile Apr 29, 2012

The donut here is pretty good! I love the richness of the donut and the sugar that's on it! The combination is really great smile The good thing is that the sugar didn't melt even though I brought it all the way home before eating. Also, the price is quite reasonable so it's quite worth a try if you're in the area and craving for donuts!

milo lava Smile Apr 27, 2012

yummy

The milo lava filling is totally awesome! It's thick and flavourful, especially if you like the taste of milo. Also, the filling flows out gently as you bite through the pancake. The only thing I dislike is that the pancake is sometimes too hard and bland. So it's impossible to eat the pancake without the filling. The milo filling is unfortunately in a normal quantity, how I wish it is more!

chicken claypot rice Smile Apr 12, 2012

The claypot rice here is pretty good. The dark sauce used is of a relatively good quality. It is not the kind that screams salty nor the ones that are excessively sweet. It is a balanced sauce that mixes well with the marinated chicken chunks and 'lap cheong'. I enjoyed the blend of the salty chicken with the slightly sweet 'lap cheong'. The rice combines well with these ingredients too. However, I don't like the 'burnt' and hard pieces of rice that sticks to the sides of the claypot cos they taste slightly bitter but my husband loves the crunchiness of it.

Cheesy Mushroom Puff Smile Apr 12, 2012

Prima Deli's mushroom puff is one of the best I've eaten so far! If you bite into it immediately after getting it off from the shop's warmer, the flaky pastry is at its optimal temperature - not too hot to chomp through, and yet warm enough to taste the oozing scrumptiousness of the mushroom filling. The filling is a must try! The name "Cheesy Mushroom Puff" is odd, though, cos you can't really taste much cheese in this pastry so if you don't quite enjoy the overpoweringly cheesy taste, go for this one as it's quite light. I admit that it used to have more generous fillings compared to now but still the taste is really worth the price of $1.90. It's quite a shiok tea time treat if you like savory items rather than sweet ones.

soya bean Smile Mar 31, 2012

I know the lao ban soya bean has been very hyped about but this is the first time I'm trying it. My verdict is that this truly deserves the amount of praise people have heaped on it. I love how the pudding kinda melts into liquid once you place it in your mouth. It is very smooth as it slurps down my throat. In fact, it is so soft and tender that it feels as if there is nothing really to bite or chew. So it's almost like gurgling it down. So the smoothness is definitely a plus! The other thing I enjoy is the malt taste. It's quite fragrant and sweet-smelling. A really good buy indeed!
