Chickens @ Popeyes Cry Apr 06, 2012

Categories : American | Fast Food | Halal

Deep fried chickens are usually the favourite of all ages. It is also my favourite too but I should say the chickens at Popeyes may not have impress me. The smell of it after cooked was actually quite fragrant, however my first bite was quite tough and dry. There is actually no juicy in the chicken meat and the deep fried skin is not really that crispy. Although the plus point is that their chicken are not as oily as the usual deep fried chicken, but I should say it is not really that tasty. And the price is quite high which may not be affordable for students. Moreover the chickens are not served hot but warm, which may me more upset with their chicken.

Set Lunch @ Jack's Place Cry Apr 02, 2012

Had set lunch at Jack's Place with my colleague during one of the weekdays and was really upset with their foods, environment and services. The lay out in the restaurant is quite squeezy and warm. Service staffs are not really prompt with their service and are quite blur and not attentive when we placed our orders. The foods served are mostly cold and under quantity. The appetizer served before the main dish, which is their garlic bread is very hard and dry. The orange sliced cake after the meal is also hard and too sweet. Overall experience was quite a disaster here and really look forward to their improvement on the above before I would actually consider to revisit this branch again.

This morning came to this bakery shop to buy a packet of this hotdog buns back home to make my our hotdog sandwich. $1.50 for 4 pieces is consider quite reasonable priced. The bun is quite soft and moist and with the golden brown outer layer is fragrant and with slight sweetness as well. The shop is clean and with bright layout here. However service was not polite and impatient.

Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich OK Dec 19, 2013

This restaurant is very spacious and quiet, best to have a meal with your friends and have a good long chit chat here. Service was alright but was quite slow. I have bought their Teriyaki chicken sandwich $10.50 to try. The sandwich bun was abit too hard and dry. Fortunately the chicken meat was tender and juicy and the teriyaki sauce was fragrant and the sweetness was quite ideal as well. The potato chips was like the unusal chips sell in the supermarket, which I think is best to serve with fries.

Curry Chicken Noodles OK Dec 19, 2013
Categories : Food Court

For merely $3 per bowl, this curry chicken noodles definitely is delicious and also very filling after I finished it. Curry gravy is thick and creamy, and with generous amount of coconut cream in it which make it very flavourful. The noodles are chewy and lots of fresh beansprouts are added in it as well. Besides, the chicken meats inside are also very generous. The meats are juicy and tender. The environment here may not be that spacious and comfortable, but service here is friendly and polite.
