Marche Smile Dec 15, 2013

After catching a movie at GV Vivo, decided to have my dinner with my friend in this Marche Restaurant. Restaurant is a bit warm and squeezy, which not really that comfortable environment here. Service was alright but not that super friendly. Have bought the Seafood Paella ($16) and also the pork knuckles which both taste equally good! The rice is fragrant and not too soggy, and the whole prawns are fresh and crunchy. This dish is full of the seafood fragrant and not too oily as well. Pork knuckles are super crispy and not too oily, delicious and portion is very generous.

Yummy Indian Food Smile Dec 15, 2013

Indian foods from Muthu's Curry is definitely delicious and make me craving for more. First time here and immediately attracted by their fish head curry ($25) and also their simple garlic naan ($4). Restaurant is spacious and cooling, service is warm and friendly. Fish head is very fresh and sweet, with really thick and flavourful curry gravy that is super delicious. It is very spicy but is simply flavourful. The garlic naan is soft and easy to chewy. Totally not tough in texture and full of the mild garlic flavour in it.

When I reach home from work, my sister surprised me with a box of this ham sandwiches from this Goldbites at gv plaza. The box looks really elegant and the sandwiches are quite heavy as well. When I open it, two big slices of sandwiches are presented infront of me. The bread is full of the spicies flavour and is soft with slight crunchiness. The chicken ham is chewy and fresh woth generous amount of crunchy lettuces and mayonise dressing inside. Very tasty and filling. For the price of $7.80, is value for money.

While waiting for my uncle to alight in singapore airport from thailand, I decided to grab a char siew bao as a snack. This Ruyi outlet is quite big and cosy. The uncle service staff is friendly and helpful. For merely 90 cents per piece, it may look small but the quality of it is really good. The bao texture is soft and firm and moist as well. The char siew meat is very tasty which the pork meat has been roasted till really fragrant and tender. Combination was really good...yummy!

squid ink spaghetti Smile Dec 06, 2013

My friend invited me to this high class Western restaurant to try his favourite dish, which is the Squid Ink Spaghetti ($23++). For the price of $23++ per plate, is really expensive and I was really surprised of its high price, but fortunately taste great! Generous portion of sliced squid has make this dish very fragrant and flavourful. Spaghetti is very chewy and portion is generous. THe black sauce did not really make it taste bitter, but rather make it taste delicious. Restaurant environment is very cosy and cooling, service was excellent and friendly.
