Mini Crossiants Smile Nov 25, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Bakery

This bakery shop really looks interesting with different types of pumpkin bread and pastries available here. However saw this mini crossiants (at $2.10 for 3 pieces) looks delicious and is with no pumpkin content inside, and decide to try it out. The crossiants are very fresh and crunchy, which is full of butter fragrant as well. It is not too oily nor too sweet, great to have it by itself or to spread some tuna fish or butter to it. Service here is friendly and shop environment is cooling and neat.

Prawn Crumble Smile May 30, 2013

Had a nice dinner gathering with my fellow ex-classmates in this posh restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and not too bright lightings are used here. Service was excellent and very prompt. I have ordered their Prawn Crumble spaghetti, which certainly has impressed me by it's lovely presentation and generous portion. The large prawns used are very fresh and crunchy. The spaghetti are chewy and not soggy, which the sauce used in it is refreshing and appetitizing too. The portion was generous that I could not even have dessert after complete this main course. Sure is value for money. Per plate is at $26, is costly but delicious!

Dessert Smile Jun 14, 2012

After a nice simple meal here, my family and I decided to have some desserts. I have chosen their vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge coating on it. The ice cream is soft, smooth and the sweetness is just alright for me. The dark chocolate fudge topped on it goes very well with the soft ice cream and l also love those thinly sliced almond on it which give that extra crunchiness to it and make its appearance looks more colourful and taste delicious too!

New outlet at Bedok and I was really excited and went there around 10am and only queue for 20mins and get to enter the restaurant. Service was friendly but restaurant was a bit squeezy and warm.

I bought their pork congee $4.20 which the porridge is very smooth and the pork meats are very tender and soft. Not too soggy and delicious. Mushroom with spinach dumplings at $3.80 which dumpling skins are very thin and fragrant. Spinach is very fresh and sweet. BBQ pork bun at $4.50 is their signature. Bun skin is crispy and full of butter fragrant. Pork meat is soft and char siew sauce is sweet and appetizing. Yummy!

Sophie has always been one of my favourite bakery shop to to grab some pastries and sandwiches. This time I have bought the Ciabatta Mozzarella & Pesto sandwich ($6.90) which the portion is huge and really look tempting. The sandwich buns are filled with different types of spicies fragrant and the bun is firm and moist. Lots of crunchy lettuces, soft cheese and fresh tomatoes are filled inside this sandwich which is very nutritional. The shop is spacious and clean and service is warm and friendly.
