Walked in on a weekend dinner and was seated at the room area, sharing a long table with other diners. Service was good as they'll try to pour the tea for you whenever the teacup is half full.

Ordered char siew bao, siew mai, deep fried prawn roll with mango, carrot cake and a meat platter (roasted duck and roasted pork). One down-side is if you come in pairs during peak lunch hours, you will hardly to get a sit.

The freshly barbecued golden brown Chicken Wings were succulent and juicy. If you are a chili lover, try the chicken wings with their chili sauce. I guaranteed it will give you that extra kick. Give it a Try..!!!

Dessert Smile Apr 24, 2012

This stall is outstanding because young people man the stall, and they are proud of what they serve. Most of the other dessert stalls that I patronized are manned by older people - the one in Queenstown, Zion Road, former Margaret drive. They are quite a tired lot but this bunch of youngsters is raring to go.

Ambience: It's a clean food center but don't expect much. They are friendly too, with such services; I think it will attract more customers for sure.

Great Fish Maw Smile Apr 23, 2012

This Dian Xiao Er at Jurong Point is huge! Just for their main entrance alone, they already used like 1/4 of the whole restaurant and there are still plenty of seats inside, nevertheless their theme is really cool and I love the ambience! We love their Fish Maw Thick Soup with Black Fungus ($30) which basically has the same soup base as shark's fin soup. I've always liked shark's fin soup not because of the fins but because of the thick broth which is oh-so-yummy. And there's nothing not to love about their fish maw soup! The soup was cooked just right to a starchy texture that was not too salty and thick. Enjoyed the soup very much! Must try!

Porn - Thai OK Apr 07, 2012

We had an early dinner and found the place empty.

Ambience; Formerly a Jap restaurant, now Thai. Furniture made from left over timber from torn down buildings - catchy and comfortable too. Quiet place (early dinner remember) with comfortable tables and chairs. SAFRA members get discount!! Yeah SAFRA,

Food: We had the olive rice which came in a cup shaped mound, a prawn omelette .
The food is pretty average, it is nice as compare to some Thai restaurant in Singapore, but it is not that traditional too.

Recommended Dish(es):  Olive Rice

Spending per head: Approximately $30
