Sumo salad at Somerset Smile Dec 21, 2013

This is one of the must try potato salad in town. I really love it a lot and I will definitely buy it when i am in town. It costs $6.90 for the small bowl. Although it is the smallest in the available sizes, the servings was very generous. The salad consists of a mixture of potatoes and eggs. If the available salad is not up to your liking, you could even request the staff to make a salad which is customized for individuals.

This is 2 of their must try dish on the menu at 20.90 without GST and service charge. I ordered the seafood spaghetti and my friend ordered the beef burger which i can't remember the name. Spaghetti was alright but the prawns is a little not fresh. As for the beef burger, it taste awesome. The meat itself is very soft and the servings was big enough for two persons. When you ordered their main dish, you are also entitled to their salad buffet for free. I will definitely come back again.

Coffee Bean at Vivo Cry Dec 21, 2013

This is their Christmas season toffee nut ice blended latte. I ordered the medium cup at $7.90 nett. The taste was terrible and it is very diluted. All I could drink is bland sugared taste , there wasn't any toffee nut taste. The queue was so long that I waited for 20 minutes before I can collect the drink and it was hard to find a seat. After we had settled down, the table was full of plate and cups that was not cleared. My experience with coffee bean in Vivo was terrible and I will not visit them again.

I had ordered oreo cheese cake which costs $3.50 per slice. It was quite cheap indeed, however, the taste was terrible. The cheesecake's oreo isn't crispy and the quality of the cheese used for the cheesecake wasn't up to the standard. The place was quite noisy and it is hard to find a seat. However, the waitress that served us had a very good and polite attitude.

This is one of the best char kuay teow i've ever eaten. It is not oily at all and not very sweet. The stall assistant will only cook your kuay teow after you ordered the food. That is why the kuay teow was served hot to the customer. Each plate of kuay teow cost 4.50 but i think they worth the price as they give a generous portion and it was quite filling. I visited the store at around 9 plus pm which most of the Singaporeans and tourist had already eaten because the malaysian food street was quite empty and seats are easily available.
